I remember hearing Dave Fanning playing "Tender" on the radio here in Ireland for the first time back in 1999. Myself and my sis turned it up as loud as we could until the old man shouting from the next room "David, turn down that awful hippie shit NOW!"... I remember distinctly thinking did his dad tell him to turn down "Come Together" in his day.

Great Flick! Most happy I got to see it on the big screen!! Surprised the cinema was not even half full considering the one nearer me was sold out ages ago!

Coxon is a funny git! Him and his "painters and decorators"!

As for the "Glasto moment"...........WOW! It was made brilliantly! To see and hear it like that in a cinema was excellent. My cheeks where glistening at that moment.........the manner in which they spoke about that gig........they held it in the regard I had told myself they only could. That Sunday night down on Worthy Farm was so special for me and my friends and will always live as one of the best moments ever and to hear them have such strong feelings for that moment!...........It just blows me away!

Without a shadow of a doubt that Glastonbury segment is the highlight of the film, was the highlight of my year last year and looks as if it was the highlight of Blur's utterly brilliant career! I am so happy and proud I witnessed it first hand and see it live forever in filim!

BTW...........Noel, you so know Damon won!

Nope...........dragged my heals booking tickets so when I went to get them it was sold out, so it was a road trp to Swords for us and it was pretty empty

Missed the footie for it and it was well worth it!!

There was a lovely moment when he speaks highly of how Alex wrote about him in his book and then it goes to Alex who says he was quite surprised that Graham did not know that thats how he loved him.......beautiful!

I haven't, but I've heard very good things about it.

yeah, its a class film. i guess that because i love blur it simply means more to me and is therefore 'better'

Dig! is really good. Its much more ramshackle of course and it's focus is much narrower.

The Last Waltz/Gimme Shelter/Some Kind of Monster are excellent films. Gimme Shelter in particular is flawless.

I dunno if the Blur film is in their league to be honest.
