If they are deemed 'suitable' and get a slot at all, I should think it'll be headlining the Other Stage. Even though they are very popular, they just don't seem right to headline the Pyramid, which is more suited to more of the Coldplays, Muses amd Stones of this world.

It seems like they've pencilled in a slot for Glastonbury in their touring schedule, and are just waiting for Eavis to say yay or nay (didn't someone on here say they'd actually asked for a slot?)

I imagine all the punters who enjoyed him would disagree...

My daughter thought he was fantastic (apart from American Land, which went on way too long....), but would die of happiness if Green Day were on...

ps.. how do you know it was a snore fest.. you didn't stay and watch to prove a point did you?

Yeah i did watch the whole set, my friend loves him so i stayed with him, after about an hour i was bored stiff. Im only yanking a few chains anyway, the boss did nothing for me but i know loads of people who saw the set loved him.

Green Day id imagine would do the same as with every popular band, some love them some hate. Personally i love Green Day and their gig in Manchester last week was amongst one of the best ive seen. I think they would go down really well at Glastonbury, they certainly know how to have fun on stage and it rubs off on the crowd.

As much as i do love them id actually prefer someone else as ill be seeing them at the Manchester stadium gig a week before glasto!! I certainly wouldnt complain though if they were there. Id take the Stones over Zep personally but Zep would still be awesome.

    • Have you tried Anna von Hausswolff yet? Great singer, and she's from Gothenburg so guess she'll be extra excited to show her skills, especially after she unfortunately had to cancel her early summer dates.    Different style, but Oklou for me was the highlight of Primavera (apart from Geese), really enjoyable relaxed music.
    • A few bigger acts that did other similar festivals this year but not Truck, wouldn't be surprised to see one or two of these (if they're touring):   Reytons The Streets Blossoms Sophie-Ellis Bextor Rick Astley Scissor Sisters Dizzee Rascal   Truck on the undercard seems to rotate a lot of it every 2/3 years, expect to see some of these (if they're touring): Yard Act Sports Team Sea Girls Pale Waves Fat Dog Peace Swim Deep Courting   Hope Westside Cowboy and Radio Free Alice are booked again and get some bigger slots next year
    • I read a reliable source saying there's not enough time to stress test and have worked through any major financial decisions between now and then.   So guarantees this budget will just be tinkering at the edges only.
    • Thanks @sisco. Looking forward to it!
    • Looking like will be bringing a 2-3 month old to Glastonbury next year
