I have. I usually work, but I am edging my bets this year. After all i have up to the end of Feb to pay the balance, and i can still refund the lot up to May and all i lose is a tenner.

why not go for sale on any other day when we could go to the bank, put money in and pay by 'DEBIT CARD'

Credit cards cost the retailer 2% fee to process where as debit cards cost a fixed fee of Ithionk 40p

Been debit card only for years!!!

Tickets go on sale 1st sunday of the month so people have just been paid, people who work also have a good chance of being off work on a Sunday.

Its hardly as if ticket sale has been a secret is it???? Why not just transfer some cash from your credit card to your debit card a week a go if funding is an issue for you???

What I found odd though was how easy it was to get tickets for the first half hour if not hour. After that I really didnt see it selling out today.

I was a mong and slept in today. I thought to myself this would definitely sell out even because I had a 5 hour train journey back from Manchester today. I eventually got home called and got through straight away.

Why do a lot of people solely really on the internet to make a booking, why not call? The only thing with this is you have to have all faith with the dude on the other end of the phone not to make a f**k up when processing your order!

It's the old story innit. If you were there, sitting at a good broadband connection with all your party's reg numbers and postcodes at 8.45am this morning you will have gotten a ticket. Organisation. =)

my mates all thought i was mental with my military planning for this year. they went along with me to shut me up. all sat at our pcs by 8.30 am with the lists of info and 2 phones each.

now they appreciate my obsessive nature!

Disconnect modem from mains and cable connection

Disconnect router

Drink coffee make toast eat toast

8.00 reconnect modem, turn on

turn on router

turn on laptop

noticed updates installed so reboot laptop

8.10 log onto efestivals forum

check out links for see tickets add to favourite bar in chrome

8.56 purchase tickets

9.30ish get email confirmation

Check with friends they had done the same, jobs a good un sorted!!!!

Talking earlier about the fallow year being in 2012, I went to a talk given by Michael Eavis and he said the reason it would be in 2012 was because getting basic stuff like temporary roadways and toilets and stuff would be difficult with the Olympics taking pretty much all the event stuff that the UK has.

Seetickets f**ked it up for me. Was trying for agges. Eventully get through and it tells me that why registration number has been used to book a ticket already. Im like, quality ive got my ticket then. So off to work i go and come back to see ive still not got a confirmation number and no outstanding orders. Thanks See.

Well other people are saying theres a 14 hour delay on confirmation emails. So im still hopeful. Fingers crossed.

I don't really get the whole one person trying to book all their mates tickets things. Everybody in our group (7 this year) is expected to start trying from 9am sharp having been issued with the details for the bank account we are using and everybody's registration number and postcode. Not suprisingly it's usually the same mate with the fast connection that ends up getting them, but everybody is expected to a)try and b)be on msn from 8.45am to report on progress. If we get lucky (8.58am this year) we then move onto any other groups of mates we know are trying to get tickets. This year we helped out another group of 5 who were struggling.

Isn't this what Glastonbury is about?

Although I can see why those who've only been the last couple of years might get complacent, I can't see that EVER happening to those of us who experienced the 2004 24 hour internet meltdown.

If it wasn't for this website I doubt we would've tried before 9am, luckily we did try and got through straight away with absolutely no worries.

Night out on Saturday, back to mates house drinking until 5am.

Home at 6am, immediate sleep.

8:45am, girlfriend wakes me up, still hammered and thinking I have to go to work.

Realise I'm on a night shift, think she's made a mistake, ask why she woke me.

She reminds me about the tickets.

8:55am, flip open laptop and google Seetickets.

9:10am, get through to deposit screen.

9:12am, job done.

9:13am, in bed asleep again.
