Think they will be a great/popular addition to 2010. NME were reporting today that they are starting on new work and are now label free! Would love to see them at glasto again!

yes! i kept on yoyoing whether to go see them in manc during the tour for third as utd/ barcelona was the same night. Needless to say, i opted for the football since i get paid for it and wasn't exactly flashing the cash at the time, then a couple of days later they released a statement saying that the touring for third was done (less than a month after it came out!).

big efforts were made to get Portishead to Glasto in the last few years without success - it seems that they're not interested.

If they were ever going to do it 2008 would have been the perfect year - with Third out and a tour in the spring. It's not going to happen. The fourth album will probably be out in about 10 years.
