Ok, so I stand corrected on that particular photo.

Even so, 'the joke' is still unpinned by a lot of the narrow minded opinions which floated around about Jay Z last year in the built up to Glastonbury. Opinions based upon stereotypes (of his music) and self righteousness which made some of the self professed 'liberals' of the Glasto demographic look very ignorant and small indeed. Apparently cultural relativity was lost on them.

Either way, it's neither here nor there now as he went down a storm.

Every year we have a whinge here about headliners. All the build up comments about Jay Z were repeated this year about Springsteen. Then afterwards you get a few people admitting they were converted.

Next year will be a whingers paradise about all the people who aren't good enough to make the 40th and all those who should have been included.
