I think the deposit system worked really really well, there was no mad half hour rush spent desperately clawing for tickets and constantly refreshing.

However with next year being the 40th anniversary do you think they will all sell out immediately, deposit or not like they did in years like 2007?

If they come out dead early again, without the lineup announced it would be great. Easy to get the ticket AND most of the people there are there for Glasto itself!

I think you're right in that selling tickets before the acts are confirmed will attract the right minded for the experience.

I deffo think thatBy selling tickets before, yes it's a massive gamble on your behalf, but seems like it's well Worth it.

By doing this, evident at the KoL gig in Liverpool, you wont have stupid idiots who wear black and act solid, going cause a band released a good song, but people who actually like music, and Love Glasto,

I love Glasto, this is 1st realistic chance next year of going, so ive got my fingers for all my faves coming up and getting tickets

From what I've heard, the deposit system was such a huge success that they're planning on keeping it. Cos not only did they sell out, they made a fair bit of cash off the £10 fee that they charged people who didn't buy their tix after paying the deposit.

I think the deposit system is here to stay, but saying that I'm probably wrong!
