I know that for some, there is no competition between a festival heavy hitter like Kasabian and relative newcomer Florence And The Machine but I'm really torn . . . .

  • Kasabian will be spectacular but I've seen them live before.

  • I think Florence And The Machine will give an amazing performance that, twinned with the festival atmosphere, will really be something worth seeing.

  • My friend would rather see Florence And The Machine.

I've taken a poll, just to get everyones gut reaction but I'd appreciate your thoughts . . . has anyone seen FATM live? Does she live up to the hype?

I voted for Kasabian purely because I think their set is gonna go down as one of the best in recent years. Florence And The Machine would have been a highlight for me aswell but I don't think I can miss Kasabian :)

Saw Kasabian at Glasto in 2007 haven't seen Florence and the machine live before mate Andy reckons Flo is fab live, hence Flo chosen.

Saw florence and the machine in Liverpool at the start of the year, i don't get the hype around her. She has a great voice but crap songs and crap music in my humble opinion.

Kasabian all the way, they are absolutely brilliant live.

Definitely Kasabian - looking forward to them more than anyone. However, am disapointed about the clash. Saw Florence & the Machine on the NME tour earlier this year and they were fantastic. Florence came on stage with White Lies and sang with them; rather showed up the lead singer for White Lies in fact!

Anyway, getting a second chance at seeing Florence at Reading! :)

I'm undecided like you! Kasabian are pretty good, but i've never been a massive fan but Club Foot would be special, whereas I'm really getting into Florence at the moment. Oooooohhhhh decision decisions. Maybe i'll just sack them both off and do something random? Although every time I hear Rabbit Heart, it does make me edge slightly more to watching Florence & The Machine.

Flip a coin and let the gods decide, I'm sure both will be awesome.

Help - this is my biggest clash too, i saw Kasabian at Oasis and they were good. Haven' seen Florence yet and would love to see her but think Kasabian before Bruce will be a big one to miss.

Oh what do i do what do i do.

I've seen both live and my choice is kasabian. They are incredible live and I guarantee they give one of the best sets of the weekend. Saying that florence has a good voice on record and it sounds a lot more powerfull live it makes the hair stand up on the back of me kneck!

Also as soon as i heard the prodigy were headlining the other stage I went straight on to ebay and baought tickets for blur at hyde park as I couldn't miss prodigy. Florence is supporting blur so will get to see her there.

Also I can't wait till next wednesday morning. I'm more excited than those little kids in the disneyland advert!! No sleep on tuesday night for me :)

FATM are hot on the gig circut. you can see them anywhere. and it'll be a hell of a lot cheaper than paying to see kasabian.
