Not dream per se, but these are realistic bands I would be happy to see headline next year:

Muse

My Chemical Romance

System of a Down

Jane's Addiction

Blink 182

Green Day

Yeah, no idea why I put the in twos. I think Muse are a cert for at least some festivals next year. MCR will probably have an album out around then. Hey, they might be able to headline if the momentum from Black Parade hasn't completely ran out come next summer (arguably it already has....). Given the complete lack of interest in their solo projects, I think we're in for a SOAD reunion sooner rather than later and getting would be a great way for R&L to win back any "heavy" (as in music, not weight) fans they lost this year. If JA don't implode on their current tour, I predict they're be touring the Euro festival circuit over the next year or so.

And Blink 182 and Green Day because, well....they have to, right?

NIN, because that would mean they would tour after this year, and everything good will return to the world.

And while I'm dreaming, can I have a Talking Heads reunion please?

But at best, we'll get SOAD, and a form of Muse that's produced a decent album. In all likeliness, we'll get Muse having produced another shit album, along with Green Day/Blink 182 and Bloc Party as headliners.
