I'm taking my tent, sleeping bag, spare clothes and £400.00.

Arriving Thursday, so that's £100.00 a day. Should be enough to get elegantly w*nkered.

No food. No drink. Buying everything there. And some.

What about you guys?

Please indicate where, in my initial post, I said I was going to a "board meet".

Then, also show me where I said I had a hat on saying I was carrying £400.00 on my person.

Then (again), show me where I indicated that I wasn't locking said money in my car....

Bet you're over 40.....

As much as I can get together really, hopefully between £200-250 - if I budget for £50 a day I will have enough without having to worry too much. I like to be able to drink when I'm thirsty and eat when I'm hungry...I'd rather do that and have fun than worry about cash

Enough for a meal a day, a couple of oxfam blankets, some fruit, the odd pint of cider, maybe a bag or a hat, some jewellery perhaps, stuff for the kids, postcards home, I bought a limited picture last year, so may look into that again ... so, a few quid to get me by

I normally budget about £20 a day for Glasto (£10 of which, of course, goes to the Brothers!)

the other £10 on pasties and donuts - ah it's a healthy life style the Glastonbury one.

I'm bringing an extra £10 a day this year - means I can buy silly things like the bubble pipe I bought last year (best.day.ever!) and a handy collection of bubbles.

I'll be bringing a lot of spirits in with me and cereal to have with fresh farm milk in the mornings. Perfect!

Still I do think Rufus' comment is valid, yeh we know that people will prolly have a fair bit of cash on them at the start of the festival, but why advertise it? It's just asking for pilfering...

But I guess each to their own!

Probably between 50 and a hundred quid I'd say - I'm also a poor student. :ph34r::D

Taking a lot of my own drink with me though including a lot of spirits, also taking a bit of food aswell.

I Would take a bit more cash but I've got a hectic summer planned, I literally cannot f**king wait for Glastonbury to kick it all off.

ONE WEEK.

    • Another one from Sheffield DocFest this weekend, Earth Wind & Fire docu, directed by Questlove. Sensational archive footage, contributions from band members, family, plus a lot of very big fans (Stevie, Lionel, Flea, the Obamas) and a warts n all assessment of the genius / flawed human being that was Maurice White. Also, I never realised he started out as a jazz drummer with Ramsay Lewis. Well worth a watch.

    • Got HBO Max to watch football so watched One Battle After Another which is a great film and deserves its awards and then rewatched Magnolia and that is a flipping amazing film...so much in it. (also rewatching Angels In America series which is also amazing).
