I think everyone has been predicting the likes of David Bowie, Dave Gilmour/Roger Waters, Radiohead, for every Glasto for the past few years! And it never happens! I don't really care much about Radiohead, but it would be fantastic if Bowie and/or Dave Gilmour or Roger Waters would play Glasto 2010. I don't think it will happen though!

I am convinced (but only based on gut) that they will have Radiohead, U2 and Coldplay.

U2 IMO is set in stone..............

I personally just want to see Daft Punk headline the Pyramid............Their show on that stage would be brilliant!!!

I don't think the headliners will be massive (as Eavis has said) so rules out the big big bands

I think Radiohead will be there 100% but apart from that most likely your normal headline acts

I reckon it will be three of:

Muse - Last festivals they played were, in order, Reading/Leeds, IOW, Oxegen, V. Glasto's turn again?

Radiohead - Get predicted every year, and if they want to do fests next year I think Glasto is very likely.

Oasis - Were apparently poor in 2004 but would still pull in the punters.

Metallica - Wanted to play this year. And they have Q's seal of approval which is always important for a Glasto headliner.

The Stone Roses - Outside chance, obviously. ;) But would be cool. Coolness enhanced by 100% if Pixies were on before them.

The Killers - Token "meh, can't think of anyone else to headline" choice.

Green Day - They're bound to be doing fests next year, and TBH any fest could nab them.

The Smiths - Again, outside chance but would be great.

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Like Metallica have said they wanted to play. Maybe their performance at Reading and Leeds 2007 hindered their reputation as a festival band but who knows?

Foo Fighters - Were rumoured for this year until they announced their hiatus. If they came back next year I reckon they'd go straight to Glasto.

Razorlight - :)

Ok.

1. the pixies won't headline, they didnt headline isle of wight for example, however i recon ter defo gonna play, coz they've headlineded before

2. greenday would headline. although there new album isnt as good as american idiot there a huge worldwide band, everyone knows who greenday is.

everyones got to remeber. emily and micheal anbnoced they want 27 privious headliners on the main stage. so ur garanteed old bands that arn't as big as they used to be. Like i recon the verve might play again.

I think Metallica would be amazing. it would be the more contraversal then jay-z and possible the best gig of all time. can see metallica wanting to do it, bt cnt see them doing it.

I recon Micheals gonna try and get one massive worldwide band. like stones, U2, metallica, Greenday,AC/DC

(for some stupid reason Foos and muse arn;t as big in the states... idiots.)

I recon Paul macartny will be a 'support headliner' as micheal evis was very impressed by him and is a big fan.

All i know is that Michael jackson will defo not be playing

Two more things:

Pixies won't headline. If they can only second headline IOW (which had stereophonics and prodigy as headliners this year, who would NOT be headliners at Glastonbury) then they will not headline Glastonbury unless they have a massive surge in popularity or if Glastonbury are really struggling to find big acts.

I'd love to see The Cure on Friday, Radiohead on Saturday and a lovely Pulp reunion for Sunday.

Not that I would complain if it was Bowie, Led Zep, Smiths, Floyd or Stones, just can't see it happening.

Faithless and or Daft Punk would be cool too.

and finally please can we have Portishead somewhere!!

Eavis has already said that he has 4 superstars lined up, 2 of which have never played Glastonbury. On an outside bet I'm going to say ABBA. Before you all jump down my throat, I said it's an outsider, but supposedly they've been approached to take over MJ's slots at the O2, and I heard a rumour a while back that they women want to make some money as Benny and Bjorn get all the cash from Mamma Mia and the like and are considering reforming.

I still reckon Phoenix would be amazing and they could get Daft Punk on too so to appease the Francophiles, god that would be good.

If next year's Pyramid headliners aren't to my taste (say they got Muse, Radiohead and U2, three bands I'm not a huge fan of) then I'd love the Other Stage headliners to be Pixies, The Strokes and the Manics.
