WORLD CUP

Hiya folks

With two weeks to go till the gig G,

Firstly

It is time we started thinking about who is going to make the starting XI, we thought the fairest way to do this, is to draw names from a hat, obviously everyone will get a game, but we couldnt figure out how to do this without seeming biased or something.

So apart from Myself and Hogga, (hopefully you dont mind if we start the game) the England team names and ROW team names will go into a hat on the day, so we can verify who we have got at registration

Secondly

As you all know by now, there will be facepainting on the day this will be at the registration tent, where an artist will transform you.

Thirdly

There is going to be a raffle, Wateraid have donated some prizes, and Aberdeen FC have donated a signed football of last seasons team, now as there is a big clearout this is now a collecters ball

We hope to have some more goddies to win nearer the time. Again Wateraid have said put a pound in the bucket at the Registration tent, and you will get a ticket, stick your name & tele number down on it so even folk not watching the football, we can contact them and get them there prizes sometime in the festival.

Fourthly

The Timetable

3pm - 3.45pm Hobo Jones & The Junkyard Dogs

2.00pm Registration begins/opens

4.00pm the game

4.25pm half Time

4.30pm Second Half

4.55pm Game Over

5.00pm The Presentation Ceremony With Michael Eavis

5.05pm tidy up/warmdown/ciderbus.....

Fifthly

I realise that the half time is only 5 mins but we would invite kids/adults if they are watching to take some penalties against the goalies, again £1 into the bucket

and i also note that there is not much time between end of game and presentation, so you may be wondering what will happen if it a draw at full time, then the answer is we go straig to penalties.

2 WEEKS TODAY WE WILL BE ENTERING THE GATES OF WORTHY FARM, CAN YOU BELIEVE IT

the teams have been selected, i will (hopefully) post the videos tomorrow i never had the cable for my phone doh!!!!!, but it will add a wee bit of excitment, for you all to have to wait a day i am cruel sorry, and a bit dumb for leaving the cable behind, ah well. but i cant tell you whos in the team, untill then sorry.

Don't know is the honest answer. We will be on there from about 1ish to decide where best and then set up the pitch and registration area.

I think pretty much trainers etc I don't think that anyone is taking proper stud football boots with them?

I'll be sporting my wlaking boots, but I'm not playing so that doesn't really help much does it!!

You'll need to make sure that your footwear matches your kilt!!

Trainers would be the best. No one will be allowed to play in football boots because of the chance of injury to others.
