I've been to T in the park for the last 5 years now and i can honestly say i'm getting bored of the same old bands playing... Killers headlined only 2 years ago and are doing so again! Kings of Leon, been there the last three years in a row and having Snow Patrol as a "joint headliner" well, dont even get me started on that one...

I am so jealous of you lot having Radiohead this year but was just wondering if you feel the same way about R/L as the majority of people i know now feel about T i.e. the lineup is getting uninspiring for the amount we pay. Is there any aspects of our lineup which you wish were at R/L out of curiosity?

bands that T have got that we haven't and i would love to see are....

idlewild

the mars volta

the specials

calvin harris

2 many dj's

elbow

doves

tv on the radio

the line up there looks pretty good. festivals aren't cheap these days but im still happy to pay £180 odd.

i will probably see about 20 acts over the weekend inc. radiohead who i have never seen before and have always wanted to.

gigs aren't cheap these days so if you put it like......it cost me £50 for an oasis ticket at the millenium stadium (inc kasabian and the enemy), it works out about the same value or cheaper.

This is the first year in a while i'm not doing one big festival. 2 Atps and probably Offset festival, Field day and maybe some other smaller ones. A day at Latitude is also possibly. The more I do festivals away from the bigger ones the worse I realise they are personally. I would always do Glastonbury again as its a great experience. Reading or any of the other bigs ones I can't see me going back to unless there is a great line up or I could get into for free or something.

I'm doing my first small festival this year - Kendal Calling. Almost looking forward to it as much as Glastonbury and Leeds this year. If I had to choose one then it'd be Glastonbury (although that may yet change after Kendal Calling). Leeds doesn't come close, regardless of the fact that there are always more bands I want to see at Leeds (been to Leeds four times and Glasto twice before anyone asks).

I can't believe T in the Park hasn't sold out. If I was around I'd be going.

The Mars Volta

Nine Inch Nails

Jane's Addiction

Manic Street Preachers

Foals

M83

Of Montreal

Doves

TV on the Radio

Mogwai

Along with the impressive dance line-up (Pet Shop Boys, 2manydjs, Felix da Housecat, Tiga, Boys Noize).

Very impressive line-up.

Yeah, I had never eeally bothered to look at the line up before. And althought there is an incredible amount of shit on the line up there are loads of decent acts. Nick Cave, NIN, Mogwai, Edwyn Collins would all be must sees and then acts like Camera Obscura, Of Montreal, Regina Spektor, Tv On The Radio, M83, The Manics, The Horros, Mars Volta, Idleiwild, Yeah Yeah Yeahs range from brillaint to well worth checking out. Still I don't think I would go to it.
