Shorts or leggings (if you are girl/a man who likes to wear them) are the best thing to take as they can do duty in both the rain and the sun therefore cutting down on the packing! :D

Oh and I leave my clothes packing till just before the festival so can check the weather forecast & adjust accordingly!

I like the new underwear idea by the way :D

I'm planning on packing light in terms of clothing this year, last year I took so much but used about 5/10% of it I swear.

Enough T shirts for the week (maybe half that even), couple pairs of shorts/trousers, underwear and a jumper or two. Some food I guess although I didn't touch it last year and a lot of beers.

Good News - Bad News

The bad news - In the UK you must be 18 or over to Buy drink but Government guidelines advise Bar staff to id everyone ' who look ' under 21 even if their actual age is 30.

International Passport (current, accurate photo)

UK Driving License (Provisional or Full, current, accurate photo)

PASS accredited Logo Cards (MUST have the hologram)

Yes I know all the arguments but if you are 25 or younger the odds are you will be asked as staff cant risk taking chances.

The Good News - I will not be working in the public bars this year but will be working in the WBC Campsite Bar.

I will be 18 aswell. I dont usually take a lot, if the forecasts good, hardly anything at all really, shorts and a few T-shirts. Maybe some snazzier stuff for Lilys appearance on Friday, then I can just be a tramp for 3 days.

But socks, if its going to rain, TAKE LOTS OF SOCKS!

the best way is to take lots of things you can layer. like vest, t-shirt, jumper, hoodie, shorts and jeans, and a waterproof jacket. mix and match or wear the lot at once at 5am up at the stones when it's a bit parky. it's all you need.

and primark is your friend! you're not gonna break your heart over losing a £3 t-shirt and a £2 pair of shades or whatever. :(

sounds like some people take way too much stuff. 6 t-shirts? you're only going for 5 days, and it's a festival! everyone's going to stink anyway. take the bare minimum, you'll have to walk for miles carrying all that crap which you won't use.

    • I thought some time back that I could see Get Down Services getting a slot in Woodsies
    • Tickets on sale when I'm abroad (I'm assuming this sells out in minutes), and the actual dates could not be worse for me work-wise. Still going to try to get tickets, of course, but god damn!
    • I'm personally confident that Slipknot will be one of the headliners next year (no insider info just lines up with them likely releasing an album soon)    Then there's the headliner that's never played the festival before which the bookers have alluded to so that's one of Blink, Foos, NIN, Nickelback and possibly Pearl Jam or even Bon Jovi    The third band I also think will be a new headliner who are being bumped up so Deftones, Offspring, Paramore Etc.    I'd love Slipknot, Foos and Paramore but realistically i'd go with Slipknot, Blink and Deftones
    • Loads of people have to listen to music they don't like all day, while at work!   Not much different.
    • Generally shorter too, I imagine. 🙂
