I find it hard to believe they said that, unless some journalist twisted a few words here and there.

if you look at this you will see the frequency of its play.

if you look at the plays for Karma Police/Paranoid Android (just as examples of 'famous' Radiohead songs, you will see they have been played so much more. Surely if they loved it so much it would be played more? it's barely been played from '97 onwards

The Bends is there best album for me, especially the title track, the whole album is amazing, and whilst OK Computer is a great album, in my opinion it doesn't compare, personally I'd rank the albums as The Bends > In Rainbows > OK Computer > Pablo Honey > Kid A > Amnesiac > Hail To The Thief, although 2 + 2 = 5 on HTT is easily one of Radioheads all time greatest songs.

I'd be happy if they played 2+2 = 5, The Bends, Karma Police, Street Spirit, Lucky, National Anthem, Motion Picture Soundtrack, How Do You and Exit Music, as well as a heavily In Rainbows orientated setlist, thats just my personal opinion though.

As for Creep, Im not its biggest fan but I'm trying to convince people to come and give Radiohead a try who arent really into them (its my birthday that day) and if they play Creep at least I know its a song they'll recognise so I wouldnt be too bothered if they played it or not.

Ok Computor - Amazing, intelligent music

Creep to finish? NO - Fake plastic trees, amazing song, would leave everyone on a high

I won't be seeing them. Lostprophets is where you will find me, but also i find Radiohead an effort to listen to sometimes because its so complex and different from anything else, something i still havent got my head around. Will try to catch them after LPs have finished tho.

True love waits please!

Can't wait for Radiohead...they were awesome at LCCC last year. Are they gonna get to do a full set though? I would very much like to hear some B sides but it won't happen. It will be my 3rd time seeing them can't wait to see Thoms crazy dancing :)

OK Computer

Amnesiac

In Rainbows

The Bends

Kid A

Hail to the Thief

Pablo Honey

I think Amnesiac is phenemenally underated. I see it as the purer half of the pair of albums from those sessions. While Kid A was a brilliant reconstruction and dive into electronica, Amnesiac uses a number of the same techniques and ideas to showcase a brilliant variety of tracks, formed into a cohesive atmospheric album. Truly fantastic.

Pablo Honey, Yes and No (unless the yes was a certainty)

Creep is by far the most accessable song and would be known by the majority of non Radiohead fans who are checking them out anyway. Not only that, it's also one of, if not their best (out of the four albums I own, it's the track that gets the most listens.)

Like it or not RH fans,it's the same as Nirvana and "Smells like teen spirit", the hardcore fans don't like it, the band themselves don't like it, but the majority would be pissed off if it wasn't in their headlining set list (if that was still possible).

Amnesiac has some strong songs, a few that are stronger than anything from KID A. I just think it is nowhere near as cohesive, and there are some weak moments. Honestly I think they should have gotten rid of 2 tracks on Kid A, and made a 12 track album with the best of Amnesiac and kept the rest for Bsides.

I disagree about most things there. I find Amnesiac more fulfilling as a whole album, even though I think Kid A has cracking tracks (although few as good as Pyramid Song or Knives Out). Both albums have tracks that don't work well out of context (I think someone cited treefingers earlier in the thread), and I think they make the album stronger, but would be wasted elsewhere. I also reckon that the 2 albums are distinct enough in sound that they benefit from their seperation.

Treefingers is a brilliant song in context but listened to on its own would be boring. To me Amnesiac is just clumsy as an overall album but has some great songs. For me the one I would remove from Kid A would be In Limbo.

Hmmm... InLimbo worst track on KID A? if it's because is no lyrics then you should be shot! it's one of the most wonderfull things the boys have made... fantastic track. Every song on KID A is wonderfull for there own reasons. The album is magic and i've never heard anything like it in all my life.
