ink1ing
Stupid question I know but.... where do you get gaffa tape from? I'm shocked I'm asking this too
Abster
Ebay? Hardware stores like B&Q/Payless DIY, etc.. Even supermarkets maybe? I try and shop around and get Duck Brand stuff cheap as I can as it sticks really well and is tough..
Ketteringsim
I managed to get hold of some airflex from work. Strong, reflective and hopefully quiet. Should keep the constant blaring sunshine at bay.

LusciousLucy
Putting the foil layer between the tent inner and the flysheet is an excellent idea. If you've ever seen a house being built, you'll see they stick layers of reflective insulating board under the roof, sandwiched between other non-reflective plasterboards. mungo57
Hey sorry if this has already been asked, I had a look through this post but didnt see anything at first glance.... what exactly do people mean by space blankets? I work for B and Q (someone has to!) and we sell space blanket insulation that looks a lot like what people have used in the photos, but having never seen a roll of it opened up I wouldnt know! I guess I am asking is this the stuff or is there something else known as a space blanket that I should use? Last year I dont think I slept past 7am, even when we went to Shangri La on the Saturday and didnt get back til about 6am lol

mungo57
ah thanks. I appreciate it. Much cheaper than the insulation at work, I think its £15-20 a roll!
