Getting there by train..

Anyone got any info on geting there by train? Is the station far away? Are there shuttles? How long is the journey from the station etc.

Says there is shuttles from the train station but they're £7 return

Me and Shin and the other 2 mates done it this way last year and it is simple.. They are well seen at the front of derby station and organized.. and the monday be at the front of Donnington park early unless you want to wait a while...

As Tom said, we got the train last year. It was very simple. You get the train into Derby and buses are really obvious on the front of the station.

Yeah i've been to every Download and got the train to all but one of them. Got a load of us on the train from Bath to Derby. Allways a good way to get tehre I think, you get into the festival spirit by being on a train full of metallers

There is also the east midlands train station now where they will do the shuttles from

thats about 5 minutes from the festival

I was going to drive this year but I'm buggered if I'm paying £20 to park, and I can't get pissed, so am gonna train it from Birmingham. Just hope I get the last train back otherwise I'm stranded..lol

they add £10 worth of charges to a £10 ticket, that's shocking!

From tickets scotland it's £12.50 all in I think
