Springsteen Setlist Revealed

As a floating voter I'm up for watching the Boss but I won't be too chuffed if he plays 2.5 hours of crap I haven't heard before. I've downloaded about 25 recommendations from you guys and if he doesn't meet me half way I'm not going to be happy!

And I don't want to say how bad I'll feel if I don't get to do the Courtney side to side dance!

Not sure why you're convinced Bruce won't use his alotted time,my guess is that it was included in the negotiations. They are flying all the way back to the States during a break in the Euro leg,and don't have a show for another week or so...

Bruce is scheduled from 9p-12:30 A,and is the final show on the What stage. They played over 3 hrs, including 10 encores at the Harley fest in Milwaukee last Aug,and I could easily see similar results at Bonnaroo...

I think you,or possibly Classic Rock are a bit confused.Off hand I'm not sure if that is the actual setlist from a particular show, although I'm pretty sure 7 nights has only been played once so far...Your wishlist is pretty intact,I saw 10th,Seeds,I'm on Fire in St Paul Mon night, and he's played Trapped at least twice this past week alone, including last night in Hershey,PA.

This was just released by ShoreFire yesterday...

==================================================================

Setlists for the first 22 shows have included more than 100 different songs and a staggering range of covers chosen by fans who wave homemade posters and placards with song requests at the concerts. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band refuse to be stumped, performing songs from almost all of Springsteen's 24 albums and covering "London Calling," "You Really Got Me," "Hang on Sloopy," "Wild Thing," "I Wanna Be Sedated," "I'm Bad, I'm Nationwide" and many more (see lists of all songs at end of release.)

Throughout the WOAD tour, Bruce Springsteen has donated both concert tickets and hospitality passes to various Food Banks across the nation. The tickets and passes are auctioned off prior to each performance and if a minimum

donation of $10,000 is made to the Food Bank, Springsteen holds a meet and greet at the show with the auction winners and matches their donation (up to $50,000). Fans are also encouraged to participate in canned food drives that take place at each venue.

The thing about Harley that makes it similar to both Bonnaroo and Glasto is that it was not a concert for a primarily Bruce audience.A lot of Hardcore Bruce fans (mistakenly) felt that since it wasn't actually a part of the tour that Bruce would mail it in.It ended up being the longest show of the tour, and a lot of folks were sorry they missed it...

I haven't figured out how to imbed youtube vids on this site,so I'll just post the following link.Hopefully,

the subject matter won't be offensive to anyone,I laughed so hard it brought tears.Turns out Hitler was planning on catching a show in Jersey, and got screwed over in the Ticketmaster mess like a lot of other fans. However,Eva and his daughter console each other with the promise "we'll get GA in Frankfurt"...

This is the setlist from his show in Hershey, PA, last Friday:

Badlands

Spirit in the Night

Outlaw Pete

Radio Nowhere

Out in the Street

Twist and Shout

Working on a Dream

Seeds

Johnny 99

The Ghost of Tom Joad

Raise Your Hand

Give the Girl a Kiss

Trapped

Waitin' on a Sunny Day

The Promised Land

Backstreets

Kingdom of Days

Lonesome Day

The Rising

Born to Run

* * *

Hard Times

Thunder Road

Tenth Avenue Freeze-out

Land of Hope and Dreams

American Land

Rosalita

Bobby Jean

Pretty much all of the recent setlists seem to start and end with Badlands and Born to Run, with pretty much anything inbetween.

As Glasto gets closer and he starts to get a feeling for how big a deal it is then I'd expect plenty of 'hits' to be packed in, plus a few surprises. He's in the UK so I'm sure he knows if 'My Generation' or 'You really got me' are played then the crowd would go mental. As he's taking requests I'm gonna be at the front screaming for 'Atlantic City'! B)

When I saw him for the first time - at The Emirates last year - I was dissappointed not to hear Jungleland and I'm On Fire - so fingers crossed for Glasto.

Jungleand on The Pyramid would be fantastic !

I can't say I'm his biggest fan and I've only got into him since it was announced he was headlining, but I've listened to a few albums and I really want Dancing in the Dark. As long as he plays that, I'll be happy with whatever else he plays.

    • A win is a win but it was a very poor game with only 4 shots on target in the whole game. Scotland obviously handed a massive bonus with Brazil and Morocco drawing but I don't think either of them will be too worried.
