Line Up Announcement

Although Q might run the story first, it appears that we will definitely not have to wait much longer for the line-up to be officially announced. The Guardian will be making the line-up public on May 25th - although we may well find out before that from Q!

to be honest, you know how these things end up happening, it could pretty much happen any day up until then now.

you'll just nip onto efestivals before you finish work one day, and there it will be, the whole line up.

I just double checked that with Glasto (because it was different to what I've been told many times), and it was confirmed that that info published by the Guardian is *NOT* correct.

I was under the impression that the main acts are pretty well known and the rest of the line up announcement would be 'filler'.

the 'filler' is as important as the big names.

if you get a string of 2-3 consecutive bands on a good stage at a good time of day, it can really fire you up for an amazing evening!

thats what i think anyway.

Maybe they meant midnight on the 25th ie the 26th? Fits in with the e-mail someone got from the festival office and what Neil hinted at previously.

Personally I'd be quite happy if we knew nothing more until we got in the gates and picked up our programmes. Let the excitement last until the last minute.
