quiet places to camp

going with my missus so wondering where is nice and chilled out? went in 2004 but was only 15 and cant remember much!

Try the further ends of the campsite for such places.

I usually camp in woodsies.. usually fairly nice up there, its close to most things and can be not too hectic

The Dairy Field/Ground (can't remember exactly what it is called) is where I camped last year and it was really quiet and chilled. Plus it doesn't get a lot of people walking through it so there didn't end up being as much mud and rubbish as the other places nearer the stages.

unless your in the family bit its all a bit loud but................

the camping areas to the north of the pyramid do tend/seem to be a lot quieter than the onse to the south of the other stage

pennards is the livliest ive found, but i usually camp in park home ground next door, less mental but easy access to the other stage (where i spend most of my time, most years)

ive heard very good things about big ground (quiet like) but with great views of the site and access to the pyramid

try the family fields. its were we normally camp (switching to pennards this year for a change) and its quite up there. however if you get a baby near you you can be woken up early.

First year we went we stayed in Hitchin Hill. It was very quiet (well till we got there), we did rename it cardiac hill though as it has one steep hill to get to it! I would say that was by far the quietest place we've ever stayed over the past 5 glastos.

I honestly found Kidney Mead quite quiet other than the presence of the Leftfield but theres no need to worry about that this year

i stayed in wicket ground last year, pretty quiet up there, nice atmosphere, only disadvantage, miles away from anything this year (last year cinema near by)
