Well considering it also days they're playing Connect this year which isn't even happening, I'd say that it's a load of bollocks.

Yeah, can't be true. For the best really, they can't headline NME again which would mean they'd play somewhere on Main, and the magic of last year's NME performance would be lost to a disinterested crowd.

Last years NME headline set was fantastic by the Manics, the atmosphere in the tent was excellent as well. i would love to see them back this year but i very much doubt it will happen, but then again with a new album on the way they may put in an appearance fingers crossed anyway!

Too good, to be true! If they play on the main stage they will be 2nd or maybe 3rd and it's seems all those spots are already filled.

its for 2008 as they played last year and also connect last year..simple.
