gemsie1904
Is it going to be announced on the NME website? Or just on Twitter?
moz4pm
its smart to delay it until 11pm, the papers cant get it in after 11 so it will still be printed first on wednesday in NME
MJMilz14
Have you people forgot that the guy who books bands said it was gunna be 2 big rock bands headlining the nme that gunna make up 4 the lack it on the mainstage. The Libertines (though as good as they are) are not a big rock band!

Happy Alien
Bloodhound Gang would be brilliant! Should I keep a little bit of hope for Rolf Harris?

wheres the mudfight
I think it was supposed to be 11am, then 7pm and now twitter just says 11 (no am or pm) but that update was after the 7pm one... dunno why I really care, I bet they just announce the Lostprophets which will be the most underwhelming piece of news ever. gemsie1904
If you change the article number from the last one, (Oasis) 43910 to 43911 it says festival news, but no article yet. So it looks like it's coming. Example: http://www.nme.com/news/nme/43911
moz4pm
well spotted, i wonder why they haven't put those stories up yet. Roll on 11pm, i was skeptical at before 7 whether they would announce it then. Cure and LP but please god dont put the cure on at the same time as Radiohead
tylerdurden
THE CURE WONT PLAY THEY'RE HEADLINING COACHELLA WHY WOULD THEY COME TO THEIR OWN COUNTRY AND PLAY SECOND FIDDLE TO f**kING-KINGS OF LEON ALONGSIDE THE f**kING GOSSIP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DanielFullard
Too right Tyler. Think a few people on here are expecting a little too much from this announcement tonight. Im pretty happy with the current main stage line ups so an announcement of bands I dont like wotn bother me too much
Bains
I agree about Gossip, but Kings Of Leon are far more in demand than The Cure these days. Especially this year.

somecoolusername
Apparently there's summat about the lack of 'rock day' in NME this week. http://www.nme.com/magazine Dunno if this means anything with regard to who's gonna be announced tonight, 'cos a lot of peeps seem to think that tonight's announcement may be the rock redeemer...... ....Or maybe NME are just trying to shift units by making a story out of very little again.... somecoolusername
Wasnt it "announced" last week that this weeks NME would have the names of the "rock" act who were headling their stage? (or did I invent that in my mind again ) Im sure the word Rock was used though
DanielFullard
I have no idea, as I said and I'm sure we all know, they do like their fabrications. I may or may not have bought an issue a few months ago on the knowledge that it had a little something about Blur in it - this turned out to be an interview given - and printed - in f**king NME - several months previously! I think that all you can trust that they print is the actual solid line-up info. Names, nothing more. Eek!
