2nd headliner on Linkin Park day

They are playing Aug 1st according to their myspace.

The good news is that Reading booked absolutely no-one. Still hoping for Tool personally.

Don't get me wrong, I love Feeder. I hope they play 4th on the bill. But I'll lose my remaining faith in humanity if they're 2nd. How many awful albums do they have to release before people finally get the message that this bands peak was either Yesterday Went Too Soon or Echo Park (in either case close to a decade ago).

I don't think Motorhead would be that high up in all honesty. You would've thought so, but going on past appearances elsewhere I'm dubious.

The whole tool thing is a shame, JA still aren't impossible but they'd be on NIN's day if at all.

I'm undecided on Feeder and The Offspring, love both of them, but both have released utter tosh in their last few albums. If they were to play an oldskool set they'd both be among the best bands of the weekend. On the other hand if they were to play the sort of set they'd play anywhere else they would probably be bottled.

this isnt about the linkin park day, but surely that megadeth announcement coinciding with the major easter announcement means that they might be playing? mustaine did mention old fueds settled. maybe megadeth on the metallica day?

Well Feeder have been announced and if the line-up poster is anything to go by they'll be looking at playing 4th maybe even 5th on the Linkin Park day, so we should still have some big bands coming.
