russycarps
For me - gotta be Brompton Oratory. Such a great song and a lot of guts to start it with a drum beat from an old Casio home keyboard. The lyrics in this are just amazing and its one of those songs that you put put put on repeat and listen to over and over again. A 2nd choice would be Henry Lee but if I wanted a roaring Cave track to fill the Glasto fields it would have to be Stagger Lee. Mr Ploppy
Do you think they would work on the pyramid stage though?
russycarps
They would DEFFO be suited to the Pyramid. To be honest - they suit it perfectly just for the amount of energy in the power songs and the simplistic softness of the slower tracks. I cant imagine the 'moment' having as much impact on the Other stage and do think that havin Cave playing Into My Arms as the sun goes down on the Pyramid would be just amazing. ha ha ha, in fact, I could imagine him playing Into My Arms whilst it starts to get dark and the rain is pouring down to be equally as amazing - but dont tell anyone I mentioned the rain. Vectrex
He was great when I seen him play at Benicassim in '05(or was it '06?). Would be great if Kylie turned up as special guest for the duet Where The Wild Roses Grow.
CardiffWanderer
Er...everything that he's ever done? But The Mercy Seat, obviously, plus We Call Upon The Author. And, if people didn't mind a 15-minuter, Babe I'm On Fire.
sonic_sam
I'd like Train Long Suffering myself. First Born is Dead is such an underrated Cave album. the best of the graveyard blues type stuff. He's been playing God is in the House a lot lately, so quite likely. Even if it's "quiet as a mouse".
