ukslim
never had a growler, never really fancied it but I feel after reading this thread that I have been missing out all these years. this year will be the year I try one . A decision has been made. Seriously, they're not all that big, and they're not all that nice.

Pinhead
"What kind of food do they giveaway and is it at a certain time of the day or all the time?" Usually rice, noodles, the odd veg curry, prawn crackers etc., all cooked up in a massive steel catering pot. Not spectacular, but sometimes quite tasty, and free (well, I think there's a donation pot next on the serving table). Can't quite remember when they do the food - seemed to be at fairly regular intervals one year, more like standard brekky, lunch and dinner last year. Usually manage to pay them a visit and chill to some 'hare, hare' chanting for a bit.

ministe2003
not strictly "food" but, here's Coffee and Cookie, my favourite stall of 2004 when it was right by the pyramid. Did the best value coffee I could find on site (based on a size by price ratio, oh yes) and lovely cookies too. and the home of where my cousin asked for "cockie and coofie" in a moment Freud would be proud to put his name to. Note the UFO in the background sky. some say that it's where some ink came off the photo before I scanned it, others arent so sure
