Vodka Combo's

Please report back on your findings! Isn't there some rule about which colours to use and not use with skittles?

WHAAAT? I must have died and gone to wodka heaven. Didn't even know there are different flavours. Where I come from ( ) it's just white, red and black. I'll be sure to try some at Glasto. Where should I go?

Yes I think I'll bring some to the Cider Bus meet too! I just hope I do it the right way and they are actually drinkable. I do have difficulty making toast to be honest (ie not the best with food or experimenting with consumable liquids!). Anyone volunteer to be my Vodka guinea pig???

I will..I'm leaving out the green and the purple as that's what I was instructed.

Just remembered another classic combination...Vodka & Jello. I make lethal jello shots. Sadly they aren't any fun to clean up after your friends have had too many...rainbow vomit doesn't come out of carpet very easily.

we rented a villa in Kissimmee,FL for an overnight party and the majority of this.....

ended up on the cream carpets Mainly just people being stupid and throwing it about rather than spewers though.

do you have to melt the choccy before putting it in the vodka, i take it? i had mars bar vodka years ago and it was gorgeous.

i made vodka jellies once but i got the ratio all wrong and they didn't set. i'm a kitchen disaster.

Can't remember off hand the recipe for the choccy ones but i think it involves melting it first

I've done some with gin, not vodka - waiting to taste them, think they're just about done. One is chopped up limes (skins removed), and one is plain chocolate grated into slivers. I'm expecting the lime to be very bitter!

Must try vodka and mars bar! (the grated chocolate seems to have infused reasonably, so I may freeze the mars bar slightly first so it grates...)

Werthers Originals, or as already mentioned, Fox's Glacier mints. They also mix together quite well. Add a touch of lemonade or cream soda for something lighter.

Darrenbha - did your experiment work?

I had the skittles vodka last night. Had some friends round for a few drinks (I say a few but I feel like my head has been hit a few times with a nine iron!) and it all went down very nicely, although I'm sure them darn e numbers and colourings give a psychotropic edge to it!!!

I was gibbering away for hours!
