Forecast

Wednesday Dry and Sunny, Temps max at around 23-24c. Showers Chance 0-5%

Thursday Dry and Sunny to start, some showers possibly developing later into the evening, Temps 24c Shower Chance 25-30%

Friday Probably dry to start with a few sunny intervals, increasing risk of a shower later in the day, with high chance of the odd shower, and moderate chance of prolonged heavy showers. Temps around 20c in showers to 24c if sunny, Showers Chance 80-90%, 30-40% chance heavy showers

Saturday, possibly cloudy to tart with chance of organised rain or showers, likely to dry off later, Temps around 21-24c. Chance of shower 70&, Heavy Showers 30%.

Sunday Mostly dry with the chance of an isolated showers, temps around 26-27c. chance of showers 25%, heavy Showers 0-5%

There is still some uncertainty over the weekend, as the 06 and 12HZ runs vary quite widely and both have good backing from their respective ensembles, my guess is that the actual outcome will be somewhere in between, but slighlty closer to the 06Hz run as this has better backing from the UKMO run, and the FAX charts seems to be a little drier than originally forecast earlier today.

Lets move it. 31 pages to go. I expect at least 5 more today, 10 tomorrow, and at least 16 over the weekend and next week. Move it along. Hope it don't rain during The Specials. They deserve better.

Meeting Jackone (Abi Titmus) at the mixing desk for Billy And The Bollox in in the Sweetspot Tent if anyones interested.

Thats me, started to read this thread about 50 pages in, started of as a casual user, then just got hooked, Jackone was mentioned at dinner the other day. There is a fair amount of lunacy attached to it. I was thinking at one stage some people were going to need talking down fron the roof. The bet was made two weeks ago, its worth a bit of cash and a lot of 'pride'.

Looking forward to the weekend now that it starts tomorrow, haven't been in 12 years, that year the rain came down sideways, it was very messy, went to the previous 5 and it was wall to wall sun. We could be lucky. As somebody posted earlier, we did our weather forcast bit the day befoer by looking out the window, or throwing a bit of grass in the air. Now its edge of the seat stuff for weeks before. Its madness, but if I remember correctly, it doesn't really matter what falls out of the sky or who plays. Its going to be the business either way.

I know this is the wrong thread, but where is The Stonbridge Bar (there's a meeting about the weather on Thursday honest) Want to check out The Baggy Mondays on Thursday, and all their songs about rain and snow.

Feels a bit like Christmas Eve, post anything anywhere, get away with murder, eat the turkey after 16 pints in the local.

    • So we've signed a Horny Czech, and Bruno's turned up the training camp instead of doing Isak's nonsense.   Still not sure I believe Bruno's staying mind, but glad he's not doing the sh*t Arsenal are asking him to do to lower the price. If they want him they can stump up.   My suspicion is that whichever of Madrid/Man City don't start next season with Rodri will go for Bruno, and one of them will come in while Arsenal have f**ked about trying to get him cheap, which while I absolutely want to keep him, would still be good enough bants and a nice middle finger that I wouldn't mind it so much. I just wish we'd report Arsenal for tapping up.   If rumours are to be believed, we're after 2 more defensive signings, and an attacking player, on top of a replacement if Bruno leaves, having already signed a LW, 2 CMs, a GK, and some youth players. Huge churn, but apart from a couple of Bazou Toure's games for Ivory Coast at the world cup, I've not seen any of them play. Over 2 summers we've basically changed our entire team aside from the CBs.
    • I think the level of headliners Bloodstock get is varied    There's been bands who have gone on to play Download in quite a low spot like Meshuggah, Behemoth, Opeth etc.    Then they've had years like 2025 where you can argue that all three headliners are download main stage sub level    Knocked Loose right now i'd argue are 3rd down on main/opus headliner level while EC and FFDP are borderline main stage sub
    • Yeah Roy's Tune was lovely. Looking forward to the whole thing hopefully going on iPlayer.   It's scattered dates they have this year really, proper tour/s to come next year - suspect a new single will drop in the next couple of months, providing the album is done.
