Yesterday I tried an ale i hadn't tasted before Adnams Reggata. It was most pleasent indeed, not a fantsatic ale, but very very good. I recomend it to anybody who happens to see it in a pub near them.

Milds are under-rated. Mild doesn't mean lacking in flavour, as most people assume. If you're in London, the Speaker in Great Peter Street between Parliament and Victoria is a pub that seems to specialise in good milds!

Yeah, the Red Flag in the acoustic field has a great range of real ales. At least, ooh, five on draught.

Hi folks, I am an ale-loving lady too. (Pints not halves!) Def agree with the Bimble Inn and Red Flag for ales last year - but has anyone noted this little announcement on the new 'Areas' pages of TOS - it seems there is a newcomer to Avalon for 2009:

"The Avalon Inn: Glastonbury’s first spit and sawdust, half timbered, old English pub. Real ale, cider or even a cup of mead served by a buxom wench with storytelling, musicians, magicians and wandering buskers."

I reluctantly share this info (I don't want everyone to drink all the ale after all) but it sounds like you may have to include this on the trail too??? xx
