(Bert creeps back into camp looking all nervous dragging the main Marshall Amps in from the John Peel stage)

Is it safe to come back in yet? I got a bit freaked out by the fairies in the Nutella because I shared out my dry roasted with them down the bottom of my garden the other day and found out they had a nut allergy.

Anyhoo, I've got the amps hooked up and Napalm Death are playing a set in 5 mins. Is there anybody's tent I can rest the amps against?

I will have a wee dram of that Um stuff please Darren. Karl did well to sleep through the Napalm Death set at our new campfire stage, but I guess they surprised us all by doing an Acapella set. Credit Crunch sucks if the 'Deth' have had to sell their axe's...

Just off for a virtual game of 5-a-side once I've polished off a drop of Um.....

I love it when a drunken conversation takes off. Pyramid field 3pm wednesday before Glasto world cup match. Hobo jones and the junkyard dogs will play a 40 minute set. I'm stunned

    • I got in for £11.25 in the end, which was absolutely ridiculously good value, and made the queues and overselling of the venue much more tolerable! Sniping in on other people’s unwanted tickets on the day of an event might become my new hobby I think 🥳
    • Ann and Nancy Wilson are planning a final world tour for HEART starting next year. They were never at Glastonbury. They should do it.
    • sub yes I could see but I don't think they get 1hr 15, a headliner starting at 18:15 though is unlikely. Even the recent co-headlines that have had like 1hr 15 then a 1hr 30 after were on 8pm or just before, you are trailing behind more than 1.5 hours then. In that scenario some 3rd down bands are only starting at 18:15 and some haven't lol. I agree they won't not book them due to this but it won't be 6 headliners. It would be 5 headliners and you wouldn't want to see 5 headliners booked but Biffy were to not be thouhgt of as an option for one. Wolf Alice on the other hand could sub no bother and you'd think nothing of it. I'm not so sure Biffy would get headline though after the festival choice in Kendal this year.
    • Definitely. UKIP also used Merkel welcoming 1 million Afgans to Europe in 2015 during the brexit vote.   Politicians in other countries within the EU know the are going to lose voters to parties to the right of them over stuff like this and they've no control over it.
