confirmed as writing episode 7 of 8 for the second part of this series (or 12 of 13 if you look at it that way). This excites me, as it may lead straight into the finale (written by Steven Moffat), which will hopefully/inevitably lead into 50th anniversary shenanigans.

I only found out the other day that Matt Smith played a young Colin Farrell in 'In Brugges' but the scenes were cut from the overall film.

It's part of the same thing, think the pic I linked to is just the bit around the top of the time rotor. I like it all, feels more like old Who. I didn't mind the most recent one, but it did feel a bit Hollywood wannabe in a way.

Apparently the Xmas special story started from an old Douglas Adams suggestion, what would happen if the Doctor retired. Love that Moffat worships the same people I do!

Interesting that they resurrected the Great Intelligence, links back to the old series, and within the mythology to the Old Ones who existed pre-Time Lords.

A few people saying they'd like automatic laser monkeys. I'd rather have a Clara.

Must say that was brilliant. The new intro was very cool too and I like the face of the Doctor appearing in the vortex like the old school ones.

Moffat has created a fascinating concept by mixing up the companion mythos a little. I bet it'll have us guessing until the last episode as always.

Hats off to them all again for keeping a lid on it all too, must seem like such a gargantuan task keeping it under wraps in this day and age.
