The_Amazing_Oblong
One of the best bands I have seen live and would love for them to be there again. Seen them a few times and they never fail to deliver. It's like getting an injection of mdma through your earhole.
sifi
I'd rather watch Faithless to Springsteen too. Which is nuts. I'm a Dylan fan, and by rights Springsteen should be straight up my street. But that Faithless show at the Pyramid in 2002 was a religious experience. jamesglast
i was listening to forever faithless last night with a few mates and a couple of stella and was thinking how awesome it would to see them there *crosses fingers*
podge52
Was never into them first timeround but being inspired by excited chat on these forums I downloaded God is a DJ and Insomnia - both top tunes. Anything else I should check out by them?
Bluearsedfly
Everything they've done. Probably one the best live band you are likely to see.
PAH030
You see, I'm into the crowd vibe more than the actual band themselves. God is a DJ/ Insomnia really gets the crowd going, granted, but when that fella raps/ talks he makes me wanna go to sleep. After those 2 tracks the set becomes a bit lame IMO. Mardy
They're not my bag really. A sort of second rate Scooter with more platitudes.
Mardy
That post is going to get me slaughtered isn't it? Sorry. It is how I feel though

Mardy
yeah, maybe that was a bit harsh, but the stuff he was coming out with when I saw them was real bono style stuff about all being one and changing the world by making some noise at a rave. I did cringe a bit. Anyway, no disrespect meant to anyone on here, all part of forum life. and that. Peace.

coolethan
Ok, i figured that if there can be a 'Daft Punk for Glasto 09' facebook group then there may as well be one for Faithless too! Please feel free to join and show your support.... http://www.facebook.com/groups.php?ref=sb#...id=124384440225

8mstephen
why does it not seem likely?

coolethan
A fan from the Faihtless website met Sister Bliss after a dj set on 13th Feb and asked her about Glasto. She said that because the last one was so memorable she only wants to do it if they are first or second on the list, nothing more, nothing less. So guess we need more requests!!! pineapple-tea
I should really get facebook, JUST so I can join the group. I mean, you never know, right? That one extra person might push ME to book them! (I know, I know...)
Tugger2k
I get that in as much as I understand that it would be a hard gig to top, but come on - they can beat it!! How about if they close the festival on the other stage on sunday? hows that work for you Maxi? Michael? good idea yes? I wont even charge you for my scheduling Edited March 20, 2009 by Tugger2k
Matt 100
They seemed to be holdin there cards quite close to there chest about the dance act. Theres no consistent rumour about 1 particular band, I know Fat Boy's on the rumour mill but I would of thought he would be playin a smaller tent like he has the past few years (although I would be made up for him to play on one of the bigger stages). Just wish we had a little bit more to go off. Fook me I hope its Faithless but at the mo & like the majority of people I think its just wishful thinkin. spwan-of-the-devil
Duly joined! Saw a mid afternoon set at V a few years ago, would be awesome as a headliner set.
coolethan
that works, that works a lot!! just imagine the last tune of the festival being salva mea - ive got goosebumps just thinking about it
Tugger2k
It really would be perfect! Having said that though, would the other stage field contain them? their 2002 slot is always cited as a favourite gig for many people so would create a lot of hype. Fingers crossed.
