Just watched 'Rocker'.Some real 'lol' moments and a great little comedy.Unfortunately i can't help but compare it to 'School of Rock' which it didn't quite live up to.

REC - spanish horror based on a tv channel followin around fireman for some daytime tvshow, after not much happening around the station they get a call out for an elderly lady stuck in her room.... what could possibly go wrong? ZOMBIES

i do love zombie movies, this one is pretty good, albeit the end is a tad confusing of what it is attempting to pull off

Psycho - the worst Hitchcock movie i've seen, the woman is just such a bad actress! ("i insist i leave now officer")

the "iconic" death scene annoyed the hell out of me as she just screams like there is a bug in the tub

I had a two film extravaganza last night.

The first was Mel Gibson's Apocalypto, and it was pretty sensational. As always with historical films, especially ones involving Mel Gibson, there are arguments concerning the accuracy of it all. But as a film, it's visually stunning and entirely absorbing. I can now speak three Mayan words aswell.

The second was the recent remake of The Wicker Man. It's fantastically shit. I thouroughly enjoyed the spectacular failure in recreating the creepy and terrifying classic. It's basically Nicholas Cage darting about an island punching women, getting stung by bees, dressing up as a bear and then being burned alive.

A work of staggering cinematic achievment, followed by a work of unfathomably entertaining crap. A perfect evening.

You bloomin legend. Its on Amazon for the same price, which works out better for me cos the postage is cheaper, and they take VAT off for international, so it only came to 45 quid!
