Was on the Enter Shikari forum, and the manager stated that its not going to be Kings Of Leon, Arctic Monkeys and Greenday...

Now, i'm not sure why hes stated that so firmly, but looking at the fact that he manages a band which will probably make an appearance in the festival, maybe hes right?

Would be interesting and better imo if it wasn't the KOL/AM/GD combo everyones been saying....

Although I do think Artics will play can't see them headlining main stage I would say NME tent myself...

I believe that KOL, Greenday and Faith No more will be headlining, with shouts for Pearl Jam and Guns n Roses but who knows eh?!!!

How long before we find about the headliners was it end Feb/earlyMarch last year?

MY FRIENDS PET PENGUINS PREVIOUS OWNERS SISTERS BEST FRIEND WORKS FOR FESTIVAL REPUBLIC, SHE SAID THE HEADLINERS WILL BE SLIPKNOT UNMASKED WITH FACEPAINT, THE CAT IN THE HAT WITH SAM I AM, AND MICHEAL JACKSON

Now that Ive got that out of my system...

I think itl be

Arctic Monkeys, No matter how much I hate this band, theyre unfortunately big enough to headline

Kings of Leon, Who were pretty good in 2007, but im not much of a fan of

And Green Day, Who should be awesome, as long as they dont play the whole of American Idiot and throw some good oldies in there

But Lostprophets may have a chance! (Replaced their drummer) I hope they at least second headline under Green Day If slipknot dont and theres also the possibly of Guns n roses finding their way on there...

GOOD DAY ;)

This years line up is shaping off awful, from the few bands I've seen touted. Green Day are fun live but I've seen them before, normally wouldn't bother me but they're apparently the definitive one trick pony. Kings of Leon were a borefest for me in 05 and 07... and Arctics...well, they're okay but I'm not seeing them after 06. Music was pretty yawnsome, but the crowd suddenly became full of dicks... could be worse and have Oasis though I guess.

Erm, Lock up best be good. I'll be going no matter what line up... there are some bands I like bound to be touring, I hope :/.

Lol, sorry for coming across as harsh, I was just a bit shocked someone living in Britian 2008 could think Arctic Monkeys would play NME tent and Faith no more could headline main. You are allowed to think that of course

    • Three Scottish bands with a bunch of hits behind them, must be more to be added to this lineup as it's over 3 days, targeting the local crowd rather than people travelling methinks.
