worm
Murray is developing into a phenomenal player. I fancy he'll beat Federer as well. Incredible stuff.
King Blue
if you are implying that nadal lost just because he was "tired" thats rubbish, he was playing as good as ive ever seen him play.. he just got beat by the better player on the day. King Blue
He was tired and out of form - he said so earlier in the tournament and you could see. His serve was rubbish. His getting to the ball was sluggish. His heights were shot. And his angles were very straight.
worm
Isn't as consistent as Federer was at his peak then? Edited September 7, 2008 by worm
-MaDMAn-
First two sets Nadal was shit.He upped his game massively and so did Murray. The Nadal who finished the match was the 'real' Nadal and he still lost. It was Murray's backhand vs Nadal's forehand,Murray won. Some incredible shots being played. King Blue
Federer didn't have Federer, Djokovic, Murray and the Olympics though did he?
worm
Nice to see there being a genuinely top quality top 4 in the world.
-MaDMAn-
worm why cant you just say yeah great match the best player won.. your nadal fanboy sermons are really becoming ridiculous. nadal was playing brilliantly in those last two sets tonight... but murray played better. end of
benisright
murray beat tired nadal on the first day. murray beat number 1 nadal on the second day. murray is in the top 4. As he should be. He hasnt gone out of a major championship to someone outside that top 4 for a long time (the olympics dont count).

llcoolphil
spot on. I think people mistake self belief as arrogance from murray. Personality wise he is not a favourite of mine but no one can deny what a great tennis player he is becoming. gonna be a fab match tommorow... i might don a kilt.. or maybe not lol

llcoolphil
Because I don't want to? Because I don't believe that it's the case? Why does it matter what I think anyway? You saw the game yourself. Either way, please don't call me a fanboy.
