Thought I’d make a little YouTube update video this weekend. So I did…….

I HIGHLY recommend Theatre and Circus Field between bands.

I’m enjoying the daily drip drip drip. Plays out well when each day there is more. The longer the better as the more damage gets done and general public who would normally say “they’re all the same” start to finally wake up and change their tune.

I’ve been booked by (normal) work boss to attend a week long online global sales conference during Glasto week. So texted my Glasto boss and he confirmed that I have a guaranteed Glasto job. 😁😁😁 On Monday I will book annual leave and then take enormous delight in declining the sales conference.

Saw West Side Story yesterday. Hadn’t seen the original or play so was completely new to me. Really enjoyed it. Much easier to follow than most productions of Romeo and Juliet I’ve seen. Good cast and singing and dancing and sets. No subtitles for when the Puerto Ricans speak in Spanish. It was still clear what they were saying. For some reason I thought the whole thing too quiet, but that may have been the cinema at fault. Tiny bit too long for my liking. (2.5h)

Took my wife and daughter to see no time to die which was their first ever Bond film. Did zero research beforehand and both loved it as a stand alone film. Obviously there are multiple back stories referenced, but didn’t matter to us. Recommended.

My AF festival was fine - but I’m in a great AF place at the moment. What helps is having understanding drinkers around you that don’t mind including a soft drink in their round. I also bought plenty of pints for others. Pity there is far less soft choices at the bars. For kids and AF adults. One thing I noticed is that I felt far less conspicuous asking for a soft drink on Sunday when there are loads of people getting sober for driving home duties.

I managed 26 miles walking and dancing on crutches. #Winning
