Headlining is obviously amazing for her but my God I wish Róisín Murphy was subbing Bicep on the Sunday; would've been a right party to close out the weekend.

Got very excited about Emma-Jean Thackray into Nightmares on Wax but now realising that run will likely clash with Herbie Hancock on Pyramid and Warmduscher on Park. This year is gonna be hell for clashes.

I have friends that work at the RAH and can confirm the story is genuine. The buggers got to meet Bonobo at the after party as well and chat to Anna. A great little tidbit is that Simon also played the organ at some point and was going to tell Jon Hopkins to make him jealous as apparently Jon really wanted to have a go 😅.

Me and my brother went to the Prodigy whilst most of our mates were at Blur. I don't regret a second of it - had an absolutely amazing time. Truth be told, I'd have had an incredible night whichever I'd gone to. The only set I kinda regret not being at is Lionel. I wasn't even watching anyone else, I was just sat in a bar having a beer with my (other) brother. However, I don't get to see him that often at all so, whilst I wish I'd seen Lionel, I probably wouldn't change my decision if you put me back there right now.

Must admit - I see separate stage announcements as pretty pointless a after the big one. But if it means we're still on for Tuesday, I'll take it!

That night was my top two favourite live acts against each other: The Chems & The Cat Empire. I've seen both a number of times but am disappointed I didn't see that Avalon show. I saw them open the Other Stage and my mates were always going Chems - which, to be fair, was a hell of a show! I'm intrigued to see what the new incarnation of The Cat Empire will be like. For the thread, I began the walk to the Pyramid with one group of my friends for Arctic Monkeys in 2013 before circling back halfway because I realised I really wanted to be at Portishead.

My worry now is that Wolf Alice get bumped to sub (a slot I think they'll nail to be fair) and I'll have a worse clash as a result 😢.

So my only experience of a Spanish festival is Mad Cool back in 2018 - obviously Madrid in July. What should I expect temperature wise from Primavera and how do I dress appropriately? I think I read someone saying it gets cold overnight. Sorry for the somewhat stupid question - I'm bad enough at dressing for the weather in the UK!

When I had one tonsil out it took me a couple of weeks to recover and I'm not a singer. It does feel very unlikely unfortunately.

Haha can't say I'm a fan myself; sparkling water was already one of humanity's mistakes - we can't rescue that one just by adding some alcohol. However, I believe there was some chat about it a few pages back. Definitely see it quite a lot over here these days 🙂.

It would mean that you could go from watching Elbow to Bicep though, and for that reason I think it has to happen. Is there a DJ called Shoulder that can play shortly after the headliners?
