  1. Baby Keem - there to guest with Kendrick and playing in Brixton on the Monday. Although I have no idea how big he is so probably not.
  2. Could have a fun little game naming all the lines...
  3. I love TWOD but they make no sense to me as a secret set. I'd be straight over there if that's who it turned out to be though. I imagine they were in talks at one stage given their tour dates but couldn't agree a slot - they'd be eyeing OS headline or Pyramid sub I'd suspect, possibly one place below.
  4. I've always wondered how the knob twiddling on the giant rig they have works in a live show given the need to sync to the visuals. Maybe they have a lot of the base stuff running underneath and control other samples/feedback on the fly?
  5. Waking up having seen Sharon Van Etten the night before, and then getting ready to go have a haircut and head to Manchester for Nine Inch Nails. Hopefully all safe in the knowledge that I finished packing over the weekend. But with time on Tuesday for panic buying if required.
  6. Yup, enabled my zap earlier and just got both the text and twitter notification. 👍
  7. Wednesday/Thursday - Bonus if I see music Friday - Confidence Man Saturday - Macca Sunday - Bicep Absolutely buzzing for Four Tet on the Friday as well as have never seen him, but very conscious I could end up at The Chems.
  8. Yeah, I'm pretty stressed about Four Tet -> Overmono and may just have a night at Arcadia instead. Edit: Part of that is convincing my mate's we can make it as well!
  9. I think my current thinking looks something like this. Albeit not taking into account what friends want to do. Bonobo -> Jon Hopkins -> Four Tet -> Overmono -> Client_03 -> Cinthie Macca -> Floating Points -> Jamie Jones / Joy Orbison -> Warmduscher -> Solomun / Pangaea X Pariah Bicep -> HAAi -> Job Jobse Friday could very easily change due to the number of options and Park to IICON trek. Arcadia is a comically good backup option to have. Sunday is annoying - It seems a waste to not head down SEC from WH but not huge amounts on for me there. Maribou State could be good and I'm a bit worried San Remo will be incredibly busy. Could very easily just end up at Arcadia again and have a banging night.
  10. Him falling off the lineup really is an odd one, I'll give you that. Fingers crossed he's still around!
  11. Apologies, I clearly got this one wrong. I just have no recollection of daytime acts on there at Glastonbury. Will edit my post.
  12. Isn't that just his b2b with Âme? Or is it written somewhere else. I'm pretty sure Dixon was on the Junction 2 lineup so was hardly an exclusive before that was cancelled. It is odd that he has disappeared from Shangri-La though 😕
  13. Sorry Ben, realise I worded my comment badly! I meant my friends never lasted long either time - I think both sets were Sunday night and they were just a bit techno'd out. I, on the other hand, was having a great time and you'd have a blast! Honestly, if I was on my own and had seen FP before I'd probably be heading to San Remo.
  14. My mate was raving about Floating Points at Wide Awake the other week and I've never seen him so I think we're gonna go there. Plus I've dragged some mate's to two Daniel Avery sets at Beat Hotel in the last few years and they've never lasted very long 😂.
  15. Assuming this is a legit comment rather than a joke, then Arcadia (as in the Spider) is a night time only stage. The fire and effects wouldn't work nearly as well during the day. For their early evening offering, check out "The Bug" - it's basically a vehicle with wings that they drive to the Spider and play some tunes from 17:00-21:30.
  16. I'm a big fan of Craghoppers Kiwi Trousers. Got mine from Blacks but looks like they're on Amazon as well (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Craghoppers-Mens-Classic-Kiwi-Trousers/dp/B0017H9BPU?th=1&psc=1).

    Favourite music day?

I've got most clashes on Friday but my schedule is bursting at the points on each day... Confidence Man and the run of Bonobo -> Jon Hopkins -> Four Tet probably swings it for Friday. The run of Ishmael Ensemble -> Emma-Jean Thackray -> Nightmares on Wax / Herbie Hancock -> Diana Ross with Bicep to finish the day probably brings home silver for Sunday. Hell, might have to promote that to Gold. Saturday is still clash central with some great bands and afternoon dance options, AND finishes with a Beatle. Yet I'm putting it last. I need to lie down.
  18. How about Macca for the Arcadia TBA, would that work?
  19. We have very strong info that The Chems are playing Arcadia. So they must have always been the TBA. I presume that Amelie Lens was booked or in talks but it didn't work out, similar to Aphex Twin. The Annie Mac and Dixon shouts seem very plausible. Dixon is a big loss for Shangri-La though.
  20. Thanks! I'm actually already feeling a lot better tbf so it probably was a combination of the lacks of sleep, general exhaustion and going a bit OTT. We didn't actually even try for any of the Cituat gigs. Personally I wrote them off as soon as they were announced (perhaps semi foolishly). My plan was always for three days at the fest followed by a few days of a Barcelona holiday.
  21. Despite the very Covid-like cough I've developed, my LFT came up negative this morning. Think I need to learn to not push my body quite so hard now I'm the wrong side of 30. Something for me to work on.
  22. Yup, I'm hoping to be there for that (nervous about making it from the park though) and then probably also the night after for Floating Points. Barely spent any time there in 2019 despite how cool it looked.
  23. Just landed back in the UK after an amazing week. The bars on the first day were outrageous but had no real impact on our enjoyment and then were obviously much better for the next two days. Probably my top 5 acts: The National Gorillaz Beck Caribou DJ Shadow Honourable mentions for Disclosure, Fred Again..., Dinosaur Jr and Les Savy Fav. I did my classic of forgetting how much the heat impacts my appetite and didn't eat well at all. Which, coupled with the amount of lager drank, put me in a precarious position a couple of times. Weirdly, and I know this won't be an opinion shared by many people, I think the stages could do with one less act and more time between them. It was always more of a rush to go to the toilet/bar/food stalls between things than I like. We were staying basically on the beach so got my fill there. And then finished the holiday by seeing the Red Hot Chili Peppers last night and, just wow! They were on absolute fire and the crowd was really going for it. Incredibly loud for a stadium gig as well. I'd definitely go back.
  24. Leeds Bradford. It's been chaos here for weeks so I was prepared fortunately 😊.
