  1. What albums/songs should I listen to to get a bit familiar with her stuff for Glastonbury? I've been listening to Norman Rockwell and love it! What else? Her latest album? Her singles?
  2. Sounds like I'm getting my own private Alt-J headline set! 😆
  3. Does anyone have any recommendations how to get a good spot for the Pyramid stage having arrived last minute from Woodsies? I believe that front right side can get super shoulder to shoulder! I like to be as close as possible, preferably in the pit, but I'll only get to Arctic Monkeys with minutes to spare as I'll be seeing Warpaint beforehand.
  4. Arctic Monkeys Lana Del Ray Alt-J (try and catch the end of Elton John)
  5. Doghouse Derelicts are Sunday afternoon at 2.55pm.
  6. Yeah, why is it called the Acoustic stage?
  7. Hey! Any recommendations for a good, yet easy to carry, sleeping mattress? I often wake up at Glastonbury with an aching back from uneven hard ground beneath me.

    Can't they just sub?
  9. Am I right in presuming that the comedians usually do the same kinda set as they're currently touring? I saw Phil Wang in Leeds recently, and he was great, but obviously I wouldn't see him if its the same material.
  10. Have McFly played Glastonbury more than once? The quiz thinks so!
  11. I assumed Alt-J would headline a stage, but we seem to be running out of space for that!
  12. I had in mind Alt-J as a stage headliner, not for any reason other than it felt right, but room for that is getting less and less?
  13. Warpaint's gigs makes them look like Friday. Alt J looks like Saturday or Sunday.
  14. Mmm, but only 3 days ago he implied he's just tweeting random pictures from his phone! Ha, I wonder if the pyramid one is from when Radiohead headlined.
  15. Radiohead artist Stanley Donwood has tweeted a Pyramid. Not that I believe it means anything. But ... 🤞
  16. You make a good point. If I see Elton cos it feels like a big event, and I don't enjoy it cos I'm not really into his music, I may well regret it. Preferably I'll have a better choice elsewhere.
  17. Arctic Monkeys: 90% Their debut album is one of my favourite albums of all time, and I've never seen them live before. Although I've not been into their music since then. Guns n Roses: 10% Not my cup of tea whatsoever. Elton John: 60% Not my cup of tea for the most part, yet, if there's no one on another stage I'm really into, it feels like something special I shouldn't miss.
  18. I've chosen a Thursday coach ticket for the first time this year. Unless you really wanted to see some Wednesday fireworks (which, to be fair, you can catch many similar shows tomorrow!), it's perfectly ok, as Wednesday and Thursday are more like little warm up days.
  19. 4 days later, and I officially love Ghost Stories now, even the 2 songs I had doubts over at first (True Love and A Sky Full Of Stars.) But having said that, I also gave the latest Coldplay album a quick listen ... and my goodness I don't think that album's for me! Very very different to the Coldplay I like (unless it's gonna be a grower, but I don't think I'll find out).
  20. Cheers. I hadn't even heard of that one! It appears to be a newer one. In regards to the newer poppier songs, it turned out I knew quite a few when they headlined in 2016. Despite not playing Trouble for old-timers like me, I had a great time!
  21. Back in the day I loved Parachutes, liked A Rush Of Blood To The Head, but disliked X&Y. Since then I've not fully followed Coldplay. But these last few days I've jumped into Ghost Stories, as I heard ages ago it was akin to Parachutes. It's really growing on me! Do Parachutes fans often like Ghost Stories?
  22. Everyone seems to be saying the same 3 headliners ... are they all looking really likely?
