  1. Groove Armada, wow ! quite possibly one of the best live performances ive seen. Stunning
  2. Just seen Groove Armada at bluedot, fucking phenomenal, easy in my top 3 gigs ever. Absolutely blown away how good that was
  3. Gutted, Tears for Fears cancelled gigs due to bad rib injury to Curt.
  4. sound wise it was very good but Scarborough spa rarely has decent bands on & doesn't have the facilities for a biggish crowd, only 3 small bars & 1 lot of toilets so was a beer free night for me. brid spa definitely a bigger & better venue The scarborough open air theatre however is a class venue, get really good acts on, been to see Sam Fender, & crowded house there recently, Elbow played last night & Tears for fears this coming saturday
  5. Saw the mighty fine DMA's at Scarborough spa last night, a fab evening, place was absolutely bouncing the bar situation was a joke though, hour long queues.
  6. A-Ha are currently playing a few big gigs

Fabulous wasn't it ? thought the whole set was ace and playing for 2 and a half hours was special. Highlight, however was beautiful beaches for me, I've been a james fan since one man clapping/strip mine era but love the modern day albums. remember seeing james do a "warm up" for the alton towers gig by stepping in for a cancelled Morrisey on the pyramid stage in 1992, my first ever glasto.

Went to castlefield bowl last night to see James, first time I've been, a decent outdoor venue but beers were f***ing extortionate at £5.90 a can. Mint gig though and the place was rammed. Hopefully see James back on the farm soon as they were absolutely fantastic again .
  9. All comes down to if you get that right cookie or not.
  10. I really do hope Oasis never get back together and if they did not play glasto as the first gig as it could get embarrassing very quickly, like the wembley familiar to millions gig that was a complete car crash. I could see liam getting pissed and then start mouthing off towards noel as he does on a daily basis on twitter and there would be carnage and potential for violence. career then over for both. Has anyone ever stopped a set for fighting at glasto ? I remember carter USM in 92 were scrapping with security as they were dragged off stage as their hearline set got cut short .
  11. Thought Noel's set was superb, the HFB play with a much more mature sound and this gives his songs a welcome modern twist, especially with the tones the backing singers give . Shouldnt compare, but i'd much rather listen to Noel do his thing than Liam shouting at me while still thinking its 1997. I was in the crowd for liam in 2019 and it was awful. I wish noel had done live forever though, his recent re-incarnation of it for BBC is a thing of absolute beauty.

Presume there were less campervan tickets this year if they closed CVwest and only had east or did they squeeze more into CV east ?
  13. Had a google chrome auto-refresh plugin going for every 3 seconds for last ticket sale, zero luck until it had sold out. Seem to remember you go to seetickets.glastonburyfestival.com which is the first barrier, if you get through that and not just a white screen, you're then into a second level and thats when F5 comes in. either way, its an awful, horrible feeling watching the clock tick and your heart beat is increasing as you get just a blank page again and again.
  14. never safe until order confirmed, loads had issues with payments
  15. From nearly there to absolute despair.... remember that happening to quite a few. Wouldnt accept registration numbers, saying already used or payment wouldnt authorise.
  16. Refreshing failed miserably for me at the last ticket sale day. had about 4 devices on the go, 1 got through but when i put my details in got the sold out message.
  17. pure luck, got tickets in 2019 after about 3 minutes of going on sale. didn't get a sniff for this years which was of course in 2020.
  18. You need to do the mature, responsible thing, sit down with your friend and tell him he'll have to move the wedding. 😄
  19. Volunteering applications now open for bluedot. https://discoverthebluedot.com/volunteer
