    NO FRED AGAIN

There's no way Levels would be safe - it was completely rammed for much small names this year! Nobody would suggest to put a Reading/Leeds band headliner on say Park - but because he's a dj people think these kind of sets on Levels etc would be ok It needs to be something can be closed off, or super late at night and lowkey Temple was a crush scenario last year, I was right up in it and it was really quite scary. They need to make sure its not leaked to everyone again - his second set wasn't and seemed to go alright in Platform 23 i think it was
  2. Calvin Harris was absolutely packed Justice are very acclaimed - maybe a poor man's daft punk to someone unfamiliar because they are both french but they VERY much stand on their own two feet!
  3. The fred again comparison is entirely fair in that his music is basically the closest possible thing you can get to fred's and there is huge crowd overlap as a result will be fun for those nearby and rammed and crap for everyone further back i think

    Electronica/Dance

Scarcity - they have played like 2 dates together in the past 10 years. Benga has been out of the game for most of that time too - its a perfect storm i think. Could probably do Levels but nowhere smaller than that Will be way busier than Digital Mystikz 100% Skream is also a big dance name on his own now from his years of doing tech house that is always popular at glasto, always doing tons of sets

    Faithless

She'd have been busy anyway given she's a spice girl that was proper early like 4pm too, example was a tad later at least like 6-7 when theres a bit more bigger stuff on

    Orbital, which night?

they posted a pic of a helicopter they bought on their twitter about a year and a half ago
  7. Stereophonics are touring every summer though - there's acts that really don't do that well that can get big gigs just off scarcity alone. I'm not saying Pulp are one of them necessarily, but its something to consider They switched sites - ie they did Leeds last the day after

    NO FRED AGAIN

he'll play some small random set or two with his mates hardly surprising given all his mates do about 5 sets a year

    Faithless

Example was never anywhere near as big as Faithless Its also well and good saying oh yeah its a DJ set but half the audience won't have realised that before turning up i think

    Orbital, which night?

Orbital subbing sunday Park is completely fine ala fred again this year on other etc its hardly ridiculous

    Electronica/Dance

Arcadia is the only place safe for it really
  12. He could 100% do glasto too - anyone who cares will get a ticket to see him then can be added to glasto later once demand is filled at MK Hopefully not though. he's shite Its 65k tickets, not sure about quick even at that price on a Sunday! the dance acts big enough to headline it are criminally sh*t (or not active in the case of Daft Punk)
  13. was good fun at the roundhouse the other day he hasn't got that big of a discography though - so obviously the bangers are good but theres a lot of weaker songs to pad out the set absolutely nothing revolutionary technical wise - very bog standard
  14. Yungblud has no other uk dates this year i don't think tbf
  15. would be first in line for a bump up if next year a drop out happens (well unless a women drops out and they would make it 3x predominantly male acts), but not a first choice could easily be the legend or a sub
  16. Barry is hot on the tales of fred again with a very similar crowd, obviously fred has blown up massively and Barry looks to follow. His album just came out if that makes him 'deserve' it? strange word though - people just like his music lol re faithless - there's a thread for that conversation
  17. sunday should be a bit stronger hopefully as its a harder day to sell
  18. Weekend tickets for 2024 go on sale from 17:00 GMT on Thursday and will cost £29.50, plus a £4.50 booking fee per ticket. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/newsbeat-68594048
  19. little simz ffs heard it all may as well stick IDLES on it next Its all good boost homegrown acts, friends of festivals etc but there will be no festival left if the world's biggest festival starts having acts who sell 2 x 10k shows in London and an academy tour elsewhere. She did 2k in birmingham ffs
  20. Raye isn't that shocking the undercard is crap though Its the saturday so should sell ok - you'd hope they have saved a bigge rname for sunday which is a harder sell (hopefully)
  21. funny how coldplay get slated on here 24/7 and yet have to most votes planning to do dua 100% and coldplay maybe like 50%, depends if i can convince mates to see someone else / early SEC

    Peggy Gou, Who?

I know that I don't agree with the article but I was simply stating not all of it is 'jealous sexist nonsense' given she is known to be not nice and did plague raves

    Peggy Gou, Who?

Its well known she's not particularly nice see also: plague raves
  24. On thursday it will 100% cause a roadblock Anything relatively well known does - especially with such accessible dance hits
