Made it this time 2 seated upper. Glad I chucked back side of stage this morning.

In q at 5978, got in for tickets at 11.20 but only tickets I could get were L1 on side level with stage. Chucked them back. Expensive tickets still available. try again later. Seemed like a decent system, 50 mins waiting a bit much.

Another thumbs up for EoTR here. This year will be my 5th and I enjoyed it more than Glastonbury in 2022. atmosphere is great with a nice relaxed vibe. Hope to be going for a good few more years even at 58.

Would be very happy with Wilco,Squeeze And Gwenno turning up.

Watched setback yesterday on iplayer. As a casual fan who particularly likes TPAB I was blown away on the night by the performance. I watched from the sound towers and everyone around me seems to know all the lyrics and were very much up for it which helped. However it must have been magical in the pit judging by BBC viewing and for the tv viewer the performance was maybe even better with being able to see close ups and the interaction with dancers. definately another level talent and so pleased I decided to go to see him.

After a few weeks of reflection, I have come to conclusion that I will need to change things up if I get tickets again. at 57 I found crowds too much this year. Not those at stages but as others have mentioned the site seemed far more busy this year. so I think I will need to select areas that are going to be quieter, meaning on occasion I will potentially see 3rd or fourth choice music at certain times and choose to relax in the green fields, circus areas. Also I may bite bullet and go preerected in Worthy or Stink. it will be different but I am sure still fantastic.

Honourable mention to Oxide Ghosts documentary in Pilton Palais on Thursday night.

Saw Mr Crazyfool enjoying his lunch in the Deluxe Diner On Thursday. Too shy to introduce myself but expect he was picking up the tab for all his ticket helpers on his table.

Fantastic set. After D Ross the perfect sized crowd to enjoy from the front, especially as it meant everyone there were KM fans. The Dolly P comparison above is spot on, hope to see her come back for a bigger tour.

No more queuing overnight to get to Big Ground Kidney Mead resulting in tiredness which I can’t catch up on.
