  1. I'm out of reactions hahaha
  2. I wouldnt put it past Courtney Love to make an appearance - not with Hole - but as a guest or as a DJ or something She recently appeared with Green Day https://www.stereogum.com/2253522/watch-courtney-love-billie-joe-armstrong-cover-cheap-trick-tom-petty-in-london/news/ And also recently DJ'd at the Portrait Gallery in London for Vivienne Westwood https://www.cnn.com/2024/03/21/style/courtney-love-national-portrait-gallery-lotw/index.html She lives in the UK now and has been doing lots of press events. No matter what you think of her, she likes to be seen, and what better place than glastonbury?
  3. the pearl jam thing I can see because if they do a secret set, it kinda lets them off the hook for not offering tickets to Ten Club members
  4. Patti Smith is in the area i think. I could see Chris bringing her out
  5. you can get an uber helicopter to the airport here in nyc and sometimes it's cheaper than a taxi. They leave from 2 or 3 designated heliports in manhattan, and if you're running late it's honestly not a bad option if your other option is missing your flight. I've never taken one but it always freaks me out when it comes up as an option on the app
  6. cue Kate Bush showing up and performing the 9th wave. (a man can dream) "get out of the waves! get out of the water!"
  7. I didnt dare get excited and truly didnt think it was gonna happen even this morning. It's almost 6am here and I;m just buzzing. got some flights to book!
  8. mate, that's incredible luck! happy for you!
  9. Good luck everyone 3:30 am here in nyc - trigger finger ready
  10. I know that you're probably right. I was just thinking (hoping) that maybe Bonnie Prince Billy would sub her. wishful thinking I presume. I am going to the Gunnersby Park gig tho
  11. I have it on good authority that Mdou Moctar will be playing
  12. Jeffrey Martin is a dear friend of mine, and an brilliant writer. Very happy that he will be there!
  13. do we think PJ Harvey is a lost cause? I have hope still
  14. I randomly got to meet and hang with Cass McCombs last night - turns out he's friend of a friend. Really had a lot of fun with him and can't wait to see his set now (I wasn't that famillar before) That's a bummer about Laundromat not playing, but the lineup is still pretty solid without them. Are we any closer to knowing about the Saturday question mark?
  15. I am far from a vegan. And honestly, I wouldnt have even known it was vegan if the sign hadn't said The pistachio was my favorite, followed by the Biscoff.
  16. true. compared to glasto, EOTR is as quiet as a library
  17. That vegan gelato place is incredible. Went there every day of glasto this year and last year. Gonna have to put in extra steps each day to compensate
  18. Do we think Cyndi Lauper could pull off the legend slot? I know she headlined acoustic in 2016 but those hits certainly are loved by everyone.
  19. lord i want this to be true. but in Annie's instagram caption she says "I don't tour anymore". not that it couldnt be a one-off, but it was disheartening to read
  20. noooooooo Adding to the speculation - I could see Alison Goldfrapp getting added. She has a show Aug 25 and then nothing until February. Not impossible
  21. it was perfect. Might have been my favorite EOTR
  22. I really want it to be a PJ Harvey warmup show, but it's not likely.
  23. Our Seetickets bus took it's own sweet time getting there - left the 02 at 6:00am and we didn't arrive until noon-ish to PGA, just barely missing that shower. I was silently raging on the bus about how we shouldve been in the gates already, all set up, and now it was raining. But it did stop by the time we unloaded and I calmed down. on the hike to big ground, I slipped in and went face first into a puddle. serves me right for getting all riled up. it was the kick in the pants i needed to remember to relax.
