People always have their reason to not like an act, like GnR in this case. For me it’s the fact that they are just such a mediocre liveband. Very hit-and-miss and a slog to watch at times. Sure they have some classics but in between those I predict the field to be quickly bored out by yet another long solo…

Exactly that. My favorite artists ever are Nick Cave, Radiohead and Kendrick Lamar but I dont know a thing about how their music scored compared to their earlier stuff, let alone compared to other artists. Sure, I compare their albums, make lists,... on how much I like them but why is it relevant to know as a fan how much an artists sold?

It is a fine album but not a top fiver at all in my AOTY-list. Or even top 10.
