Anyone any experience of Swindon coach? Got Weds coach tickets in resale so would like to know where it goes from and likely departure time(s)?

Have a look at the Decathlon Arpenez 4.1. That’s what I’ve just ordered - 4 man with blackout bedroom and big porch. Saw it in store a while ago - seems ideal and not bad at £199. It was time to upgrade our old tent that was not blackout and not waterproof any more. Served us well for many festivals though.

Still buzzing from getting coach tickets on Thursday. Decided it is time to join the F&B club as no one seems to have a bad word to say about them and we struggled with the heat last year in our old faithful Glasto tent. Gone for the 4.1 with poles so decent porch too.

Great dedication to the cause. Made me think and I have now typed a few groups into my phone as short codes in case I get through on that! Seconds saved could be the difference 🤞

To be fair their whole act has them acting like a spaniel on speed barking (mild)insults at some in the crowd for effect. I guess the truth is they have offended people in this case but getting cancelled and being labelled antisemitic for it is going too far. Lots (most) of us can’t see Israel’s reaction to the Hamas attacks as being reasonable and proportionate - but that is not antisemitism despite efforts from some to label it as that

The resale thread had 4 successes out of 11 groups. Those 4 were all in the first 6 mins. The sale went on for 18 mins but it may have been very slim pickings or just the odd single tickets for the second half of that I’m guessing.

I've only seen the group on this thread, which I am sadly part of. There were loads last year weren't there? 4 or 5 - I was helping for one but got nowhere. Hoping fewer groups this time means there is less people trying in the resale and it ups our chances, but I am still nervous as!!

Not much space between tents for fires these days is there? You can head to Stone Circle for fires, they seem a fun bunch - they have balloons too 🤪

Any helpers would be massively appreciated, I am in the coach resale group (along with my Glasto buddy). I'll check what arrangements are for sharing the spreadsheet. Payment would ideally be made if you get through to keep it speedy. I would then refund anyone that bought for me immediately I have proof of purchase. The confirmation email comes through very quickly so them means the repayment would be made almost immediately. I will also be buying drinks on the farm for anyone that gets through for me. I understand some would be nervous about paying for strangers so an alternative would be to call for payment details if you get through, but that also relies on trust and takes time during which tickets may sell out, but whatever works is good! I can provide some ID and have been on here for years although not a prolific poster.

@MatthewTurner Are you setting up a Whatsapp group for the whole sheet? I was going to contact the other person in my group (Group 4 - Jay are you out there) and set up a Whatsapp for the mini group at least before the resale. Will see what is announced re payments. If it all has to be paid for then by getting in touch beforehand I hope we can trust each other so whoever gets through would pay on their card for everyone and we will immediately transfer funds to them to repay for our tickets.

Absolutely amazing in Leeds last night!

Will try for tickets but missing out does not hold much fear this time around. I’ve done 2017, 2019 & 2023 and enjoyed the first two much more than this year. There is no festival like Glasto but this years line up was poor for my tastes, and of the few acts I wanted to see there were clashes. That, along with being cooked out of my tent at 8am made it less fun for this 50yo who needs a bit of a lie in when staying up until the early hours! Did Ynot a couple of weeks ago and line up and being far less crowded made it not far off Glasto for enjoyment for me. I really fear a wet Glasto - I’ve only done those dry years and it seems very crowded. Really not sure how it (or me) would cope in a wet year.

What even was it really? Just rebadged Carlsberg? I bought some Brooklyn Lager before the festival to try and didn't like it much but the stuff at the festival tasted nothing like what I had tried

Yeah - good for keeping hydrated though! A few bars did San Miguel which was better.
