Yes, know the feeling but with the need for parents to return to work whenever possible the grandparents have a greater role than ever in childminding, picking up from school etc. This week I’ve got to take them to football practice, swimming lessons as well as a few days school run. Upside is it’s great to bond with them and fish fingers in the freezer and coco pops in the larder! Don’t think much of what they’ve done to sugar puffs though.
  3. Don’t even joke about it! Next year is going to be fantastic, like the blank pages it’s going to be the canvas on which a bright exciting future for the festival is painted.

  8. Thanks but it’s All about the subject and just capturing the moment. Out walking this evening and luckily there was a break in the clouds after a day of rain just as the sun went down. Actually was waiting for the wheel to light up but it wasn’t operating.

  10. anyone going on 6 9 14 Dec check out the Leylines as support. Really good, They usually play the bread and roses at the festival. And the bar steward sons of Val doonican are a good laugh, did Avalon stage in 2019. Got tickets for Glasgow! Barrowland ideal venue for the Levellers .

  13. You may gather that we love coming down to Somerset whenever we can but never visited Frome, but you’ve just convinced me it’s worth a visit !
  14. Exactly, absolutely no reason to be pessimistic or negative. Now it’s the excitement of the build up to the festival, the rumours , the pre planning. 100%.
  15. Ok, I will rely on you for regular progress reports on the refurb! I enjoyed the old garden area with its wasps and wobbly tables. Looking forward to seeing what they have done with it.
  16. Will make a point of visiting next time we are down, hopefully doing the crossways before Xmas. It’s been shut when we we’ve been in the area since the first lockdown. It sounds really nice.
  17. Climb the Tor, have binoculars, spot the red barn roof, scan down to the lone tree on the pyramid field then the top of the pyramid skeleton comes into view! Or just go to the skate park! nearest I will come to playing the pyramid
  18. Love a bit of Alice! He was meant to be touring with The Hollywood Vampires but the Johnny Depp situation might have affected that. The Cult are a decent shout.
