  4. I don't remember this, but they have played lots of years, so it's quite plausible they did an extra gig one year. I've seen them in 2010, 2012 and 2016 at Glastonbury, but believe they also played 2013, which I missed. Might be worth checking line ups from those years?
  5. My memory must have been playing tricks on me. I've combined 2 rainy/muddy days from different years into 1 in my head. Seems it was a 2014 the stages were stopped due to lightning and FR didn't play that year: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-28056363 I think both years I came out of John Peel after rain stopped heading to Other stage with no idea what was happening with times. Now I think of it 1 year I gave up on seeing Foster the People after Crystal Fighters in JP (and stages stopping), and the other I met my mate at the front who told me Frightened Rabbit hadn't started yet, when I thought I'd maybe missed them after seeing Rat Boy in JP (looking back at that lineup I missed Christine and the Queens for Ratboy, what a horrendous decision with hindsight).
  6. Smallest crowd I've seen for a Pyramid headliner was Arcade Fire. Admittedly I only stayed for a few songs so it may have got busier.
  7. Was the Frightened Rabbit one when the stages stopped for a while due to thunder and lightning? Think they were on after everything restarted, but it was still pouring with rain and schedules were all a bit off. I was at that, ended up on tv. Must have been about 200 people max. Definitely the smallest crowd I've seen at a main stage, shame as they were a brilliant live act

  9. you missed my vote. you need to edit that and add 10 back on to Guns N Roses (though I suspect it's just delaying the inevitable) Edit: and now JA Watts has missed your vote, it's chaos as always 😄

  11. Saw Gaz Brookfield at a previous festival and he was really good.
  12. Frank Turner has spoke about the first time he played Glastonbury (think it was the Leftfield stage too) they gave him less complimentary tickets than there were people in the band and he actually got in hiding between amps in the back of the bands van.
  13. I like the fact they have clarified Steve Davis is djing in case anyone thought he was going to give a snooker exhibition
  14. Not a band I was aware of before, but definitely want to check out more of their music based on this
  15. Thanks for the heads up. My girlfriend is an O2 customer so she's kindly agreed to try to get tickets tomorrow 🤞
  16. I'd love to go to the Edinburgh Castle gig of this tour. Does anyone have a presale code they are willing to share?
  17. why is there a statue of Uncle Fester at the Etihad?
  18. Sadly never got tickets this year, but I'd 100% be there no matter what it clashes with. Not a mega Elton fan, but he's got 4 or 5 hits I love (Tiny Dancer and Rocketman being my favourites) and think it will be a very special atmosphere.
  19. So are we going again or is there no appetite for it? The Who seem to be in the list twice by the way, whilst I think every other headliner that has player more than once is only there once.
  20. I know pretty much everyone is going to disagree with my rating of the Who, but I loved it. My favourite band at my favourite festival.
  21. Just a brain fart. Obviously meant Never Mind the Bollocks. Did love Never Mind the Buzzcocks tv show too though
  22. Got to be honest I was wondering who she was until that. Always liked Never Mind the Buzzcocks album, but Sex Pistols were before my time and hadn't really read up on their history. Really enjoyed the show.
  23. Highlight for me was Clive's unhinged lamp plug attack and Harold turning the hose pipe on him to calm him down. I was pissing myself laughing at it
  24. Saw her twice this year, once at her own gig and once at a festival. She was fantastic both times. Love Prioritise Pleasure album, not really listened to the first album much, will need to give it another listen though as I'm sure it's worth investing time getting into.
  25. Self Esteem is my personal favourite, though also love the Yard Act album. Like Little Simz and Wet Leg albums, they would be decent winners too. Not listed to Nova Twins, but want to check them out now
