  1. Bit behind on this but 100% agree, it would be incredible to see. He's done it all, shame he (so far) hasn't got the 8th title but seeing Lewis in a Ferrari would be unreal. Imagine a 1 year deal with them for 2026 when they nail the new regulations and he gets his 8th before retiring. Sign me up.
  2. I absolutely love Monza so hope it's an entertaining race. Red Bull giving Max the undercut on Checo says it all really, second driver will always be just that. In reality Max would likely have won fairly easily anyway so I guess it doesn't really matter but I'd still be a bit pissed off if I was Checo.
  3. Also saw a comment (not sure if it was him or another retired ref) who said that he didn't send the ref over to the monitor when he was on VAR as the ref was his mate and he didn't want to put him in a pressure situation (or similar wording). Absolutely ridiculous. Always said VAR isn't the problem, it's the people using it.
  4. I don't want to comment too much on visiting the farm now as I'm not sure what the official line is but all I'll say is when I do go I park by Pilton Skateboard Park and walk in through Marys Gate. Always so amazing to visit the farm. Even when absolutely nothing is there other than the pyramid structure it's crazy how much happiness the place can bring. A video I always link to is this one which shows the difference between when the festival is on and not. I'm sure there are loads of these but this one I love:
  5. Not sure this would be possible with a toddler but climbing Pen Y Fan is great. Beautiful views from the top on a clear day. Another thing you could do is a day trip to Cardiff, probably about 45 minutes from you depending on where you are in Brecon. Pretty much anything you wanted to do here. Also about an hour from you are some Showcaves which always seem to be popular for families: https://www.showcaves.co.uk/
  6. I'm sure I read they're spending all this money now with the aim of the Saudi league being a more established and recognised league for quality etc. I can't say I'll be watching but it can't be denied they've already brought a lot more eyes to their "product" in the last couple of months. Having a bottomless pit of money certainly helps.
  7. I saw earlier that the earliest someone has won the title was 6 races from the end of the season (Schumacher). I've read that it was a bit easier then due to the % points difference between 1st and 2nd back then which makes it a little more difficult but I wonder if Max might do it this year. He's already 125 clear and doesn't look like slowing down any time soon.
  8. It's funny because during the Mercedes dominant years I was willing someone to beat Hamilton (support of the underdog I guess) but today I cheered out loud in the pub when her got pole. He's out performing that car massively, as shown by George, although it seems he was hindered by traffic. McLaren being that high is great, don't think anyone expected them to be that high on this track. Is this actual proper progress for them for the first time in ages? Would love them to do this consistently.
  9. Agree with this, £30mil in todays market is great value. How old is he? He's one of those that always seemed to be great when he played against us.
  10. This is a great shout to be fair. I think I might still be registered from when I was going to apply back in 2019 so will have a look into it. Would be good to try and align with people off here and see if I could meet up with them if working. You need to do 2 this year to get priority for Glastonbury next year right?

Personally I'm just annoyed at myself for staying for as much of their set as I did.
  12. I was near the back of the Pyramid watching Lewis Capaldi. He made a few jokes about it and seemed very much himself which was nice to see considering what happened over the course of the rest of the set.
  13. How many seconds is Max winning by this weekend then? It would be good to see McLaren being competitive again but we've seen a few of these false dawns over the last few years.
  14. I've been having this thought a lot myself. There a fair amount of friends on this forum who work every year and love it. I'm very tempted. I think I would still prefer a normal ticket but it would be daft not to explore the working options I think.
  15. You've done very well there!
  16. That's a great picture, congratulations! Totally get the 12 week thing. Our scan was a week late (so actually a 13 week scan) and was on the Tuesday. I was very nervous when my wife told me the date at first as I thought it was the Wednesday! 😄 Have you started putting the feelers out for someone to babysit during the festival next year yet? 👀
  17. My wife originally got a ticket with me back in November. We found out she was pregnant in March and she decided against coming. A couple of reasons. 1 was that I don't think she fancied sleeping on the floor (an airbed) when 13/14 weeks pregnant. The main one though was just the sheer scale/busyness of it. I know I would probably have been over protective, especially in the big crowds. She would also have stressed out a lot being there I think. We did discuss ways to make it work we would both be comfortable with but in the end she decided she would rather not go. She also insisted I go and enjoy myself which was amazing of her. @JustcalledtosayI don't know if you went to any of the merch stands but they had some babygrows which were great. Couldn't help myself. We actually used this picture to announce the pregnancy when I got back 😄
  18. I’ve had a AXS email confirming I’m waitlisted. Different email to my Midnights code last week though. I have to say I’m now very happy to have even got tickets this week as next weeks sale looks fairly horrific. I could have sworn people previously were told their number in the waitlist? Nothing of the kind for me, just an email to say I’m waitlisted. EDIT: AXS, not TM. Which is odd as the email came from TM last week letting me know I’d hear about waitlist etc today.
  19. Cardiff tickets sorted. Managed to get some £110 tickets in the upper tier but I've sat in a very similar spot for the rugby and it's a good view. Out of curiosity... standing (GA and the Left/Right) were still listed when I got through but kept coming back saying no tickets found. Would I have been better off sitting there searching again and again and some may have come up? I kept alternating my search between L/R/GA and never got anywhere but reading on twitter it seems like this worked for some? Happy with what I got anyway but just curious if I was doing anything wrong. Regardless - VERY HAPPY 🙂
  20. I believe you can use your code multiple times until you hit 4 tickets bought but I need to buy 4 in 1 go so whatever I buy (hopefully) today will be our only option unless we get another code this Friday for next week. My view is it’s better to be there seated than not there at all. I’ve decided all of our limits are £150 😅
  21. I guess it’s a question of how many people used their codes for Wembley and how many have been waiting for Cardiff specifically. I want standing but think I’d be happy with any seating as long as it’s not one of the ones to the side/behind the stage. Tricky part is I’m in charge of buying for our group and they haven’t really given me a maximum spend other than “not much more than standing costs”. But then if for example I get in for some £150 seats would they really not want me to get them for the sake of £40? Not like I’ll struggle to get rid of whatever I buy if they don’t want them anyway I guess.
  22. I think as someone said earlier in the thread I may just need to start approaching the festival slightly differently. 5 nights up until like 4am take it out of me. This year I went to bed about 11pm on the Saturday and it’s amazing how much energy it gave me on the Sunday. I will 100% be trying for tickets again but have almost resigned myself to not getting them, especially with that new ticketing system. My wife and I are due to have our first baby in December so whilst I would be gutted to missed out on tickets stuff like that does put things into perspective a little bit.
  23. Ticketmaster for me tomorrow. Sounds like that’s the easier of the 2? Not that I have a choice anyway.
  24. Does Taylor do 3 hours+ straight too? Pretty impressive if so. Nerves have started for our sale tomorrow.
  25. Ok, thanks. Saves me messing around with second windows etc anyway. Just have to pray my space isn't crap when I get in tomorrow!
