  1. Does Taylor do 3 hours+ straight too? Pretty impressive if so. Nerves have started for our sale tomorrow.
  2. Ok, thanks. Saves me messing around with second windows etc anyway. Just have to pray my space isn't crap when I get in tomorrow!
  3. So whilst I wait nervously for another 24 hours I thought I'd check of there is any benefit in me having 1 normal and 1 incognito window (or laptop and phone, whatever) to see which gets the best queue place or if for this sale it's linked to my login anyway and all sessions will be the same Queue ID anyway? Terrified of doing something that will kick me out if I'm lucky enough to get through.
  4. I went to see Hella Mega tour there last summer. Absolutely incredible arena but also crazy they're putting Taylor there and not something like Stade de France.
  5. Would have thought it would have been announced at the same time as the other extra dates? I hope you’re right though.
  6. To be fair all the Cardiff comments have probably been me 😄 Can't say I've seen it mentioned much but I've been in and out of the thread and missed a load of pages.

    Vodafone

Exactly the same for me. Lebara worked great all weekend. o2 was fairly useless other than making calls and even that struggled at times. Lebara was actually that good that my friends tethered off me a couple of times.
  8. I still find it a bit mad that every venue in the UK has added extra dates and Cardiff still only has 1. I wonder if the extra dates are based on Midnights and Presale registrations, which would mean Cardiff had a low number (here's hoping!)
  9. These are the 3 I voted for and I think would be a great selection for the festival. Madonna would get a huge crowd. Dua Lipa just gets bigger and bigger - plus it would be great for Emily to have 2/3 female headliners. The 1975 were apparently booked previously during covid and haven't really gotten any smaller. Just need to try and stop Matty giving any more interviews between now and then. I do think all 3 headliners would smash it out of the park too. I would be there for Dua Lipa and The 1975, would see what clashed with Madonna. I suspect if she does play they'll have some big acts on other stages to compete like they did with Elton John.
  10. I actually just went on for Edinburgh through ticketmaster and realised there is a way to select certain prices only. I scrolled right down to the bottom and where it says "Best Available" you can click on it and tick just the prices you're happy with. Some £90odd ones were available. It also looked like there was a lot of availability for the most recent release.
  11. I'm not sure if this thread has given me confidence for the Cardiff sale or filled me with dread. It's good to read some people are still able to go on now and buy standing for Edinburgh but Cardiff only has one date which makes me think it's going to be horrendous. One question for anyone that's been through today. Is there no way to select our seats? Maybe not the exact ones but at least set a spend limit/filter on prices? If I get through for something like £200 tickets I'm going to have to roll the dice and search again in the hope it gives me cheaper ones.
  12. Where are people seeing these seating plans? I’ve been lucky enough to get a presale code for Cardiff and would be good to plan in advance with my mates where we’d be happy sitting if we can’t get standing.
  13. Yeah it was great fun. I went with @vintagelaureateand some of his mates off his recommendation and thoroughly enjoyed. I remember saying "Christmas, CHRISTMAS!" every time they span the wheel. There was something quite enjoyable about listening to All I Want For Christmas in the middle of June at Glastonbury 😄
  14. That's the one! I couldn't remember the new name. But you're right, I miss Kasbah too. Loved it there.
  15. I do wonder about Max. He says he's not that bothered by records etc but I find it hard to believe if he's on, say, 5 or 6 titles by 2028, that he wouldn't want to stay on to match/break the record. Maybe he truly doesn't care but it would be odd for a F1 driver not to. I did see him say something about 2026 regs being horrible and something like he would be quicker going down 1 gear at the end of the straight at Monza under the 50% ICE/50% battery regs. Find that hard to believe but who knows. Hopefully the British GP might be a bit more entertaining but I'm not holding my breath.
  16. I forget the name but whatever used to be Kasbah on the walk up to West Holts was great this year. Playing a lot of music during the night. Had a great night there before heading to Sensation Seekers for Wheel of Four Tunes.
  17. Yes I can. To meet my mates and get a good spot for Arctic Monkeys. A tragically bad decision.
  18. Not just me that remembers this then, that's good, In relation to the thread. A few of us followed through with out plan to watch the start of Fred Again then leave. I deeply regret that decision. Think we saw about 20 minutes. Wish I had stayed, can't even remember where I went!
  19. This reminds me that I heard on on Thursday when sat down having food by the Pyramid. A girl behind me asked her friend "Is that the Pyramid stage!?" Not really that funny but absolutely blew my mind. Is that stage that's shaped like a big pyramid the pyramid stage?
  20. Well we knew it would happen but this season is on course to be one of the most boring ever. Max is winning with absolute ease. Says a lot he was able to pit with 2 laps to go just to get the fastest lap. Hamilton complaining about the FIA needing to do something about this dominance is a bit rich coming from someone that was part of a team dominating for about 8 years. I was talking to a mate the other day and I really struggle to see who the future world champions are on the grid at the moment. Outside of Max does anyone see any driver being WDC from the young drivers?
  21. Glastonbury ethos isn't is. You look after each other. It didn't seem like a big deal at the time but I guess it would have made a massive difference to her day. I was just absolutely amazed how many people just walked by and left her there.
  22. White Lines by Grandmaster Flash, also before Elton, was peculiar.
  23. Oh yeah it’s definitely a tiny minority that are dickheads. I believe she very quickly ran to the side of the stage for them to tighten their top as the ties on the back were coming loose. A few people booed and she even said “it’s 2023, let’s not boo” or words to that effect which caused him to continuously shout it between what felt like every song. He was right in front of my and my 2 mates and I think it made them both a bit uncomfortable too.

    2024 Headliners

I’m ready to be hurt again.
  25. Actually feel like I’ve gone a disservice to the Burrito I had to the left of West Holts too. Adding that to the good list.
