I’ve actually seen her name on here way more than I expected on peoples must sees since announcement, which is great to see. This will be my fifth or sixth time seeing her and it always is such JOY, she’s a great performer and just a good egg, Also, all, CRJ fans will tell you that Call Me Maybe (while it will be a moment at an event like this) is well amongst her worst songs, genuinely not a highlight in her repertoire. Run Away With Me, Cut To The Feeling and some of the lesser known album tracks are where her genius lie. I am CERTAIN that many people don’t know what she has in her arsenal - if you want something different to explosive pop, check out songs like ‘Comeback’, ‘Now I Don’t Hate California After All’, ‘Bends’, ‘Keep Away’… she’ll do precisely none of them in this set but that’s not the point haha

Anyone recall if it was open on the Wednesday in 2022? Apols if already covered, I told my friend we should go then but he’s convinced the whole area is closed off on the Wednesday

honestly the respectful nature you’ve displayed in this response should ease your own conflict, it is a bit of a numbers game as if it was JUST full of respectful allies like yourself then it does defeat the purpose, but that seems unlikely. personally as long as you are clued up on who the space was created for and are respectful to those people and the way they use their space, I think you’re welcome. It’s the people who come and gawk like they are seeing zoo animals, or those who try to centre themselves in it that are a problem. See you there!

I have been racking my brains about Carly, what I think and what I want. Personally, I don’t see Park for her. I think it’s Pyramid, Other or Woodsies - with the smaller the stage, the higher her billing obv. not sure I can see her as high as the Miley slot, but she is far from small, 15 million monthly listeners on Spotify. I’m personally hoping for early afternoon Pyramid or mid afternoon Other. Worried with a Woodsies slot it would be high up enough to worry about clashes.
