  1. Oh my god what have I started?! 😂
  2. Yeah it’s in Hatfield Peverel which is a village just down the road from Chelmsford, we’ve been looking at going and trying it out with some day tickets, hopefully it will be good! Sounds like they are going for Latitude vibes with woodland DJs and the funfair etc.

Black Midi have played there a before, we saw them in the woods in 2018 when they were literally still at school and their debut album hadn’t come out yet… I felt the same, couldn’t take my eyes/ears off them but also don’t think I liked it 😂

Pulp is the best headliner they’ve had in years. I’ll fight people for Friday day tickets 😂
  5. Husband got covid at Glasto and I somehow managed to escape it. Kids both got it off him. I’ve now managed to get it off the kids. Silver lining is that at least he’s now feeling better so he can deal with the kids while I try and sleep it off. Tertiary Glasto-rona?
  6. We first went in 2009 and have been every year that it’s been on since, except 2011 when we didn’t try for tickets because we couldn't afford it due to moving house. We are super organised - there’s 9 of us, and we are all sat there with multiple devices trying to get through - between us we have probably 25 pages attempting to get through. Every October we have got through at least once in the main sale, and when we’ve needed to we’ve managed to get the remainder in the resale too. All that being said, I think that being able to get tickets multiple years in a row is very much 50/50 on luck and organisation, and I’m sure that at some point we won’t be as lucky as we have been. My husband and I have always said if we don’t get our tickets in the main sale then we won’t spend the next 6 months stressing about having to try in the resale and instead would book a holiday Glasto week because we couldn’t bear to watch it on the telly and not be there 😂
  7. Ibuprofen at 8pm to massively help with achey feet during the headliners, especially if you’ve been standing up all day and then they’re on for three hours…😂
  8. Absolutely perfect weather, even that rain on the Friday arvo just provided the perfect atmosphere for Idles and cleared up immediately after. Also we were double lucky because we got back to the car this morning to discover we’d left the sunroof open all weekend!🤦🏻‍♀️ For 2023 though… what are the chances of four dry Glastonburys in a row? 🤪
  9. Best: Mexican Seoul Gouchang Wings - so delicious I went back for seconds! Worst: Some shite “pizza” cheesy chips from West Holts, stupidly purchased to soak up all the booze on Thursday night at about 3am. Repeated on me for the next 12 hours 😣 Have to say the food felt quite expensive this year but I guess after two years off and inflation what it is that was to be expected.

Had a brief chat with @crazyfool1 at the meet on Wednesday and can confirm that the pyramid hat is absolutely incredible in real life
  11. It’s because you couldn’t get to the front through the crowd that had gathered further back 😂 I agree that some of the placements on the lineup, I know they have to spread stuff out but there have been some massive acts on smaller stages and it’s so dangerous, especially on Thursday when there’s nothing else going on.

What’s the latest on the crisp situation? Anyone else had anything confiscated?

Surely if crisps were banned they should have made that known beforehand?!
  14. Incredible scenes!! This will be my last run I read before the festival, as we’re currently in a hotel in Wiltshire ready to get up and do the last leg of the journey to site first thing in the morning… just wanted to say thank you to you @briddj for all the updates and being on the ball every 6 hours for the past couple of weeks! It’s been one hell of a ride! Have an amazing Glastonbury everybody, hope to see some of you there 🥰
