I've said to friends in the past that I would happily part with £100 just to have a parking spot near the entrance and a pitch to put my tent on inside the fence as I like being 'in the action'....although I get why that would never happen.
This seems to be a halfway house on it....although all the 'glamping' stuff I would never use I don't think (never done glamping for the record!)
Two of our group who came last year hadn't been since 2015....they said similar, we were slowly wandering back to our camp in Paines at around 3-3.30am on the Saturday night and it felt like it was 10pm with the amount of people moving around.
As much as I've consistently gone for 20 years, a fair few of my friends have come on and off and some that came last year who hadn't been for 7-8 years all said about it feeling a lot busier on site.
